Whoever got the idea to get these two together for these videos deserves a raise. This is how you keep a show relevant while the next season doesn't come out. Most importantly, this is how you get your audience to understand and embrace a new character that they have not shown a lot of support for at first. Kudos to all involved!

I kind of had a theory about music and the faraway tree so my daughter told me to start sharing with you. So, one theory I have now is the reason Victor's memories are so screwed up is because he is a reincarnation of someone who once lived in the town. Due to his age and trauma he was unable to process this.. I also think he may have precognition or it may be past memories because sometimes his drawings are of things that haven't happened yet or have happened in a previous life. Love watching you E-man!

He's the main one I want to hear from, especially if he's really not coming back until season 5, as the rumor goes about the entire cast. Boyd's connection to that place is the one I've GOTTA know. And I can't stop laughing at the Jim pissing off the Boy in White, so the Boy sent 2 dogs to Jim the next day to block approach to Victor. 'Keep it gangsta, dogs! Keep it gangsta!' Can you interview both Belgian Tervuren dogs?

I was recently speaking to a retired NYPD Officer, and I asked him how many clips (he corrected me and said magazines) did he carry when he went out on patrol. He told me that they were allow to carry as many as they wanted to. Which brings us back to Boyd removing the bullets from Acosta's gun. In reality, Acosta should have had at least one or two more magazines in her possession.
@croatoansoundsАй бұрын
I also thought about this… I’m not 100% but I think she reloaded during the arrival… did that happen? so she may just have had the mag in the gun, and one on her belt which she reloaded and then Boyd took that. Also she’s a local cop from a small town in Maine, so maybe just standard to not carry a ton of ammo as it hasn’t been needed for the stuff they deal with daily. I’m totally guessing, I admit haha. Just was mulling it over and thinking of “in universe” explanations
@Lisa7841Ай бұрын
Agreed, I feel like thats why she didn’t press Boyd any further about the bullets because she would definitely have extra somewhere on her persons.

Few thoughts, one of which is tied to this actor's character: "Knowledge comes with a cost" being brought up in a season where there's a character named Acosta. Also, unsure if anyone has brought it up, but not long after Victor reclaimed the ventriloquist doll from the cave/monsters that Smiley gets reborn. Always had a "Smiley gives me vibes of the doll" feeling. Maybe each monster has a token/totem. Like the old lady monster might be tied to the one shawl/blanket of Viktor's mom that was mentioned being in the cave as well (stereotyping shawl and old lady here).

A funny farm for people with visions, would be a terrible idea. Who would come forward under those circumstances? Sara relayed important information, because she wasn’t afraid to speak of her experience anymore. That‘s what they need, and what hasn’t happened nearly enough. Also, the people receiving telepathic communications, haven’t necessarily been compromised, they‘ve just been reached out to. What’s important is, to not do the bidding of these voices, without questioning them. Again, you need people to not be afraid to talk about it. If Sara had dared to open up to Kristi, just a little more, back in season one, a great deal of tragedies could have been avoided.

1) Okay there are 10 mins left in this interview...but I wanted to get this out before I forget. She made some good points regarding Boyd being too close to the case. I still don't trust her because I think she'd be a different monster with bullets. 2) I can't believe Emann fell for her arguments and didn't defend Boyd on this one point....She said Boyd was the only one running the town, but actually it WAS 3. Boyd, Donna and Father Khatri. Now it's Boyd and Donna. And honestly Donna was probably the only one who could have stopped Boyd. So Donna agreed with the torture. 3) This is completely unrelated, unless y'all mention it within these last ten mins....the reason that teenage boy monster asked Julie "Don't you remember me?" is because she's been story walking for some time now. Who knows where we are in this time-line. Good interview. You held your own. You are clearly a great actress to the point that I really don't like Acosta AT ALL. But Samantha is doing a wonderful job on From. ❤❤❤❤
@jessicaemmit4062Ай бұрын
I agree. I feel like these 2 interviews have made me like Samantha as an actress and possibly a person but I don't trust Acosta just yet. Samantha is very well spoken and has put a lot of thought into this character, but at the same time, even she doesn't know where the story is going. Every explanation has been her interpretation of the character based on what she knows, but she also said that they only get so much of the script. She speaks as someone who has spent a lot of time rationalizing the characters actions, rather than someone who fully knows who the character is, I fear.

I think the book Ethan reads, was actually written by Jade or Tabitha in a past life. And the answers are in the book. And look at the map in the truck. In the past, rivers used to be the roads. So, people go there by boat. Then later, railroad came along. You've seen the tracks. If you follow those tracks, you will find another town. Then... Highways. Who knows, in the future they may have an airport. Hahaha and the future July looked like she had been in the real world. Look at the jeans she had on. Had her hair done. She been jumping in and out of town.
@vfcchurchmusician5896Ай бұрын
I actually think that Ethan calling Julie a StoryWalker is important here--the stories cannot be changed once they've been told. So Jade and Tabitha are DOOMED to keep returning but will never be able to rewrite the fact they cannot rescue the children???!!!???

More water references just for fun: Ethan mentioned that lake of tears, the brundles (I think that was the name of the pond?) was a big location previously where new characters began figuring things out or revealing things, monster cave art shows them arriving by river, the old town/cabins are on the water, Boyd’s house IRL was on the water, after all the changes/knowledge gained it snows for the first time ever, the Lighthouse clearly SHOULD be on the water though it’s not haha, the motel has a pool (which is empty, so missing water may mean something? Or not, I freely admit that too 😂) etc. No idea if these all (plus what you guys mentioned) are all part of a larger theme, or the fact that water (rivers, lakes, drinking water, snow etc) are just normal things related to water in the real world so inevitably they happen here too, haha. But it popped into my head
