I think it’s Kenny’s mom and this is why Kenny will turn dark cuz jade was definitely close to Kenny’s mom (hence to why his helping carrying the wheel barrel) and Boyd is taking the body to Kenny 🤔😓😓

Y'know, they never did find Brian's body- it wasn't in the bar when Jade went in the next day and it wasn't with Kelly in the forest. Strange. The monsters started out screaming- we hear them in the flashback to Boyd's first night in town. After he found the Talismans, they still shrieked in the woods (we hear them briefly when Boyd, Jim and the doctor spend the night in the RV) but they also started talking. That seems to be when they started to entice people (hypnosis?) to come outside. We know there was a three month streak where the monsters didn't get to kill anyone- that streak ends in episode one. The monsters can either look like people you know or hypnotize you into thinking you know them- as seen in the first episode with Julie and the monster outside Colony House WHO WE NEVER SAW AGAIN. The monsters not only know what people are saying in town during the day, but they know who everyone is BEFORE they arrive in town- otherwise they couldn't have known anything about Julie. Since Boyd opened the bottle- possibly releasing the evil spirit that was "laughing at Boyd" in season two that he "brought back to town", the monsters have changed again- they're more talkative and sadistic. Now this. As to Fatima and her baby, one of the drawings at the intro shows something coming up the way to the attic where there seems to be a baby in a cradle and a woman rushing to get upstairs from the bottom. As soon as Fatima said she was pregnant, I though of that damn drawing!

They've had that light power of suggestion/hypnosis for a while. Remember Megan? The old lady said "I'm your Gramma," and Megan was in that mild trance-like state. Her mom said cautiously "She's not your Gramma." She said this like she was used to the hypno-crap, but she probably thought the windows were nailed shut, so she wasn't panicked because of that and she wasn't sure if Megan was mesmerized. Because Lauren (mom) was looking at Megan's back. It was an uncovered window, but most were covered. That's where they slept. Not sure why they were so lax about it. Maybe the 96 days without incident had her defenses down. But as they introduced the Matthews, slowly, and taught them things, they mentioned that those "things" will try to get you to listen to them. And that it helped to keep the windows covered. Fatima, Boyd, and Father Khatri all said something about it. So they been knowing that for a while. Victor and Donna almost certainly knew, too. That's also why you see guards posted at Colony House on most nights. And that's why they always flip out, not wanting to open the door, even for Ellis, Kenny, and Khatri until Donna reasons with them.

@@Ash.Crow.Goddess YES- they've always had that suggestion abolity- Fatima explayto Julie that they keep the windows covered "because they can get in your head" if you're looking at them. They can also fucking FLY. Or at a minimum jump extreme distances- remember that the Grannie Monster was outside a second story window. Colony House barricades their second and third floor windows. Also, there's the monster that killed Father Kathri. That thing was NOT there when they exited the van- then it was right behind him!

I think the trees moving and the symbols are a clock counting down to "then someone screamed and the spider came down from the ceiling" as Ethan said in his vision in the first or second episode when he was high AF.

Boyd was not a medic in the army. He was Mr. Fish and Loaves. That's Logistics. He set up the field, basically. He made it happen almost miraculously, with very little to start with. They basically called him Jesus with that moniker.

She showed up just in time to stop Jim from investigating the blinking sign- which I think was Morse Code- and she knew where Kenny was- redirecting Boyd, AND she provided the liquid morphine that tempted Maryele. AND she said she had seven children. Just like the ashy kids- seven children.

Victor is Victory. He's a Trump Card. He was a trump card for Julie, for Tabitha. Helped Boyd and Elgin. And he is helping Jade. You could also think of him like a joker or a fool. All trump cards. He's like the Goddess Nike... Unwinged Victory. He could even be Winged Victory with a big leap or jump. Like Arya doing a supernatural leap to kill the Night King in Game of Thrones. Winged Victory. Unwinged Victory usually has a small win in the middle, and a big win at the end, with flight of some sort, becoming Winged Victory. This is all from Greek Mythology.

Always remember the monsters are the "tip of the spear" so yes they are connected. Something else is at play now, the monster have to take a step back. I don't think we will see many killings from them this season.

There’s some serious misdirection in that trailer. First, I think that’s Reggie in the cart. Boyd’s shirt is still bloody and torn on the shoulder where Reggie shot him. Jade is helping him carry the cart because his arm is still hurt from being shot by Reggie. Then in the next shot when they are holding Boyd in the barn, his yellow shirt is clean and the shoulder where he was shot is not torn or damaged. I guess they could have washed it and sewed up the gunshot hole in the shoulder but I don’t think so. I’m still thinking on this scene in the barn. Honestly, we don’t know how long these monsters have been able to refrain from just ripping them apart.

Aw I missed the stream and I love both of you guys! What came to my mind immediately is that it sounds like Boyd is coaching Fatima through the birth of her baby. Maybe there will be a small time jump of a few weeks and she has an accelerated pregnancy, because things happen faster here. The way he's telling her, "You're so strong, you're so strong, I know, I know..." it sounds like he could be encouraging her while the nurse creature (looks like she's in the scene) is delivering the baby. Then I'm guessing the monsters kidnap the baby because I can't imagine them killing him/her - too dark even for this show. That could be why there's a set photo that came out of Boyd and Fatima in the woods, maybe on a mission related to that. Since the monsters' mission is to break Boyd, the worst thing they could do is take his baby grandchild. What they would do with the child, I'm not sure unless it's a demon baby lol.

I dont know if anyone else has tried this, but after looking at the two tree symbols that Jade found, I wondered what they might look like in 3D. So, I stood/glued three cigarettes on a jar lid. After bending the cigarettes, I was able make one symbol, and when I turn the lid around for a different view, you can see the other symbol. I dunno if it means anything. I probably hit one too many bowls this morning. 😂

I believe the years are similar to when the show airs... So about 2022 give or take. We also didn't have a clear indication of how time works in this world. It just might work differently. Notice how people heal really fast.

Y'all should go look up the Fairy mounds and their castles. Specifically their Sithens I think they call them. Or think of an Old Haunted House story/movie where the house is as much of a character as the entities. Think of old, old pieces of land that soak up blood, and sorrow, and pain. The place itself can have a personality. Think of Lord of the Rings. The stationary trees can have wills that are unique. And the ents, the moving tree men have their own language and society. It's how we get "laws of the land." As humans, we can make whatever kind of laws we want to, but their are older laws of the land that make it kind of easy to resort to, if the human lawmen are not at hand. Think of Karma. Retribution. Vengeance. In myth and storytelling, that kind of thing always trumps human law. And that is always the type of laws, deeds, and contracts that fairy folk or devil characters are always operating under.

Mrs. Liu does have an interesting name. Tian-chen, linked to a dragon. And Liu could be a form of Lucifer. But pre-bible, Lucifer just meant Lightbringer. The Morningstar. But Kenny and Mrs. Liu losing their shit and going ham is not out of the realm of possibility.

Maybe Boyd and her took shelter there for some reason at nightfall and the monsters finally revealed that THE TALISMANS DO NOTHING. Never have. They're game tokens that the monsters abided by for "fun", NOT because they had to or because they couldn't for some reason. That's why the talismans worked when Boyd was in the cave with just women vibes covering the entrance. Then the talisman worked in the RV. The people are being played with.

I'm just going to throw this out there, because I study the etymology and meaning of names. Kenny, Kenneth, Kai, are all sneaky forms of Cain in fiction. Characters in fiction/myth/folklore almost always have a villain arc. BUT, they sometimes redeem themselves in the end. And sometimes, they are simply the annoying ones. Like Randall. Now, I know everybody probably knows who Cain is, but just in case, he was the first murderer in the bible. He and his brother Able were Adam and Eve's children. He killed his brother Able. The favored one. And they HAVE been trying to show a little animosity between Kenny and Ellis, sometimes.

@@LukeStarkilla Right, they did! They could also use it as just a subtly similar trope. Like, maybe it just looks like the Bible story for a few minutes and than it moves on from that. Fiction is always unique. But symbols, tropes, and archetypes can always be spotted in mystery shows.

This show is good but is it worth waiting this length of time for it each season? Not really. Unless S3 picks up the pace that is. Even Lost gave answers along the way, this show has done nothing, that being said I am exited to see how it unfolds.

anyone who believes Tillie is a Mole must also not believe the writers ability to form a story. Yes she is the obvious pick but that is just misdirection. The "mole" is someone all characters love and will tell anything too. Fatima is the Mole! if she ask for a gun Boyd or Donna wouldn't hesitate, especially now that she is "pregnant"? what other way to conceal a Rat than with a baby?
