Ingvar grew up on a small farm in Smaland, Sweden, called Elmtaryd. In those days, Sweden was subjected to great poverty; the difficulties he endured became a blessing in disguise, as he incorporated the values that he had gained during these tough times into IKEA's ethics.
A poor agricultural climate plagued Kamprad's province in Sweden, making farming impossible for families to make a living. It was difficult for people to make ends meet, so they took on entrepreneurial ventures and sold handmade products. As a result of the economic crisis, many children were working alongside their parents to make ends meet.
Seeing this, Ingvar offered to help. While many of their children worked on the farm with their parents, helped run their father's store, or worked in their mother's guest house, Ingvar did things differently. As he turned six, Ingvar began to sell matches for pennies.

You are right about most facts about IKEA but you are wrong about when the first IKEA store was opened in Sweden, because it was in the year of 1958 in a town in Småland called Älmhult. It was the museum that opened in 2016.

There are inaccuracies and strange claims in this video. IK did give interviews and even participated in a TV-documentary in 1999, but of course only in Swedish. Since 1982 the IKEA company is no longer registered in Sweden, but in a complex corporate structure of foundations and subsiduaries based in Switzerland, Lichtenstein and The Netherlands, This setup has cleverly evaded IKEA from paying even a single cent in corporate tax anywhere ever since.
