I know this video is from last year, but congratulations. Hope you had a great year! We had a driver from Pyeongtaek to Sokcho when we were there in 2017. Wonderful drive. Amazing how many tunnels there are on the new highway to Sokcho. One that was around 11 kilometers long. Some lit up and very colorful. We took the premiere night bus to Seoul when we left Sokcho. It was a very comfortable ride. The sounds (even songs) the road makes as you're driving on it in so many areas. So cool. Loved it. I remember thinking that Sokcho would be a nice place for a honeymoon. We did a ten mile hike in Seoraksan National park. It was October so the leaves were very colorful. Watching your honeymoon videos makes me want to be there again!

I have to say that I think having your trip miss the flowering trees, might have been a boon for you. Everyone shoots for the blooming trees.
