Thank you Dr. Katie. Your videos are so informative and helpful. For a long time my dog was sick and all the conventional vets just gave her pills and sent her home, telling us there is nothing they can’t do. And that they don’t know what is wrong with her. Then I found you! Thanks to your work we were able to heal my dogs gut and now she is doing much better. Keep doing what you are doing!

It truly is trial and error and not one treatment plan is the same. I was a staunch advocate for raw or freeze dried raw. Unfortunately I never thought of reading the nutrition label and the 33% crude fat in the raw freeze dried sent my sweet girl into the worst case of pancreatitis my vet had ever seen (> 2000 spec CPL) 3 days ER vet, iv fluids, antibiotics and fasting, abdo ultra sound and 8K later, she finally got better with the "dreaded " canned food Low Fat Royal Canin, it probably saved her life. That was a large piece of humble pie, my pet doing better on low fat canned food. While recovering from pancreatitis, suspected EPI, and recent ER visits, she developed alarming stress behaviors, pacing night, panting out of the blue and looking straight through me with her ears back, like didnt know where she was. The vet prescribed massive amounts of Gabapentin, he suspected Canine Cognitive Disorder, which made her woozy, weakened her hind legs and now made her a fall risk in the stairs, unfortunately her night pacing, rug scratching and outbursts of panting did not get better. It was at this point, where 2 medications saved her. Omega-3 : after a full week of Omega-3, she finally slept A FULL NIGHT without waking up. And Four Leaf Rover: Digest, brought her gut and stools back to normal, combined with Low Fat Royal Canine. That was a year ago and she is going to be a healthy 16yrs old. Im shocked that canned food helped, but even more dumbfounded how Omega was the ultimate medication that saved her. Long story short: Each pet is different and I send all pet parents going through sleepless nights right now all the love in the world. I truly believe Dr Katie will help since my Vet never suggested Omega or Pancreatic enzyme support.
