Thank you for mentioning you failed your exam 3 times. That makes others who feel like a failure for failing it the first time have hope and just keep working hard towards passing the exam.

Hi how are you? I was literally researching on how to start a private practice. I am finishing up my MSW and even though I know I have ways to go before I can open my own private practice, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to gather all my information from now. I do want to ask you, are you renting a place to do your private practice?

I really appreciate you making a video, I recently graduated with my Masters in Psychology. I live in the state of Louisiana and am finding it so hard to find a job in my field or surrounding my field. My masters's degree didn't include licensure so I want to know is there a way I can obtain my license other than having to complete my PHD or PSYD program .

You should be able to become a lapc, get 3000 hours(or or whatever amoubtis required by your state.) Then sit to get your LPC

Hey I love your video but I am majoring in psychology I haven’t gotten my associate degree but I’m almost there. But I’m definitely going to get my BA in psychology, but I’m also thinking about social work. I know they both are similar but different major. I want to know your opinion can I still study psychology, and get a BA after just be a social worker assistant. One more question I’m not sure what type of psychology I want to do I love kids a lot. I had thought about working in a school setting, but then thought about maybe I would like to work in a correction facility, or hospital. But I’m not sure I just need help pointing to the right direction. But can I do both be a psychologist, and do social work.

Would psychology be a good minor for me? I am majoring in social work. I am a junior in the bachelor's program. Any advice would be helpful. I finished my volunteer practicum this semester.
@MarlineFrancois5 жыл бұрын
You can take some of your electives in Psychology (based on what your career goals and plans are too). If you are getting your Bachelors in Social Work, then your MSW will be less than 2 years. Don't forget to watch my other videos too for more insight.
