I LOVE how you set up your week for journaling. Never thought to do this for my journals. I haven't been journaling lately but I really wanna get back into it. I do agree that there is a alot of shame in the planner community for not sticking with ONE planner size/style/layout, etc. Thank you for the reminders & for sharing. ☺️

Hi Robin, thank you for the video. Very inspiring! Also, I have similar feelings about simplifying and “do what makes you happy”. I worry because the question for me is always “why does it make me happy”. More times than not, my purchases are a substitute for a bag of chips so I try to be mindful of those times when I’m just feeling unsatisfied. If I don’t deal when I’m feeling unsatisfied, either my hips or my credit card will suffer.

Amen to that! I do the same thing. So now before I reach for a cookie or my credit card, I ask myself, “what am I really feeling here? Am I grumpy, anxious, restless, sad? What action can I take to change this feeling?” Very rarely is the answer to eat or spend money.

@@catewatrous2131 so well stated and you made me laugh about the very rare answer! I 100% relate!

❤ Oh, and would you believe I’m a crocheter as well. Yep, I have planners for my patterns as well. See, the possibilities are endless. 😊 Hope this helps everyone that feels, well, stuck in a planner funk, and you don’t know what to do.

What a great idea! I recently cut down some pages from a planner I started but won’t finish and turned them into inserts for my pocket rings. It was very satisfying to create a new planner without spending any money.

This was a fun video! A few weeks ago, I was at a local theift store and found a mini binder and then found a filler planner for it (2023). Total cost less than $3. I plan on buying some white out and trying it out as a budget planner for a year. I just felt like it was time to switch it up. And I'm on a tight budget since the move, so this was just the right price.

Awesome video! Everyone in this journaling, planning and scrapbooking community loves all the new items, and stamps for me! Don’t be afraid of white space- it’s your darn planner and use it however you want! I use the same rule for my scrapbooking! It’s about your own creativity and yes unfortunately being financially responsible (darn it 😂) ❤ love this video! Keeps me thinking to destash more 🥰

I’m a Planner Babe as well. I’ve been purchasing stationary for many years. My old job back home started it back in the 80’s when Stephen Covey used to travel to big corporations and talk to employees about The 7 Habits….(need I say more). Listen, if you enjoy the love of good paper, beautiful pens, and stickers galore, journal, plan, and do what you do. The thing about planners, daily timeline pages, etc, is that you can reuse, and use it as you like. I’ve never been shamed because I do what I want, because I purchased them. Even if you don’t, you can repurpose your pages. I’ve got many friends here on YT that won’t shame you about what you do with your planner. ❤😊

I tried to do the whole journaling thing probably in 2019. I wanted to do the whole do my own art and hand draw all the things. It lasted 2 months. I was so slow, and the art (used posca pens and watercolor) would just smear and transfer from page to page. The journal had mixed media paper in it, so it was not supposed to do that. I was so frustrated that I walked away from journaling. I tried to pick it back up here and there and fall flat on my face after a few weeks. This video on take-a-note...I am excited so try that style. A few lines, a few stickers and the whole month is done.

Love reusing old planners! We're bound to see something that makes us wonder if it would work for us, while having at least a small stack of older planners no doubt. That's a lot of free real estate 😏

I made the mistake of purchasing all the planners when I started this hobby, and now I have too many & I’m loosing my mind! Where do you sell your planners? 😵💫😧🤬😦
@talksfromtheheart8 ай бұрын
If they are used I would say they aren’t sellable. If brand new and dated from a previous year you could redate them. But this is the sucky part of this world is there are few places to sell them. Maybe try a Facebook group.
