That would be pretty good. I’d bet they wouldn’t go around twice through to show 2wd vs 4wd. They’d probably go 2wd and 4wd in one go on that trail to save time. Not sure how long that trail takes to complete but thats my bet if they do this.

G'day Rudy and Janelle. Nice 👍 job on the Jeep. did you have any problem fitting the gearbox. You showed the basics but is the box manual or automatic. Also as I understand it, the gearbox would need holes in the floor pan for the gear levers. Also is the tunnel different

Nice work Rudy! Really awesome to see you fabricate your own trans mount for your jack! I just went through renting a trans jack and honestly getting it on and off the truck 6 times over all from renting (pickup,use,dropoff) was the hardest part of the whole damn swap. I was about to say Rudy you're a fabricator man you don't need no custom Jack for transmission you can build your bracket. I built one out of wood to take the transmission out of my Chevy 4 wheel drive years ago worked great. Crazy thing was my brother-in-law make fun of it next thing I know he's asking to borrow it so he can take the transmission out of his Chevy

I know you know Cherokees, but if you aren't doing long arms, absolutely spend the hundred bucks for control arm drop brackets. The ride difference is insane. Also regain your droop offroad.

I think I saw a cylinder that was free-standing without a cap. if the valve breaks off when it falls over it becomes a rocket perhaps it is actually well secured. just in case

I don't have a transmission jack either but use about 6 small ratch straps to raise / lower it without it falling on me.

Oh my, she is installing brake hoses. They do not appear to be correct. I ordered extended brake hoses Part Number RE1550 (frt.) and RE1513 (rr.) from Summit Racing. Someone did the same thing on a Comanche I have been working on and the rubber hoses were fully stretched making offroading unsafe. I would not even trust them on road because they have been over stretched and became cracked and decade. I have a CJ5 with a lift someone installed and did not replace the brake hoses with longer hoses to accommodate the lift. The above part numbers work on the CJ5 so I ordered two sets. The hoses were delivered in 4 days and only cost $150 for each truck. That is cheap SAFETY insurance. You absolutely must install longer brake hoses to accomodate the lift and amount of suspension articulation. I don't know if you could see, picture, or imagine a hose breaking on a bouldery, slippery downhill, and no way to apply brakes. Or, imagine you crash into an innocent family in traffic and kids or others die because the short hoses failed. That is scaaary!!

You should at least put a control arm drop on it. That's going to ride like crap with the lower arms pointing down. I had that same lift on my XJ, and the CAD made a huge difference. And I've been running a Hack and Tap on mine for 15 years.
