Before that lift was there, all they had was a little 3 foot wall where you took the stairs down to the beach which was a big drop. One night in 1992 i took some acid (trip) at a rave in the Portugal fields. Big mistake. Still out of it in the morning sun i was running down that road where Grill 54 is and i jumped over that little wall and fell god knows how long down to the bottom of the stairs. Woke up in hospital with iodine all over my back and ran out, still tripping. Went back to Albufeira this summer and saw how safe they have made it, probably because of idiots like me. How i didn't die i will never know, but i am still here to tell the tale and watch your fabulous videos Algarve Love 💋 Thank you Steve and Sue 💋
