I just wanted to say: thank you for another banger of a video, German really has a way of explaining things in the most simple way possible. So often we get lost in the technicalities of specific shots while forgetting what the actual goal of it is in the context of a game and actually winning points. I love coaches who are pragmatic and do not believe in one golden rule in how to play the correct bandeja, vibora, etc... Every player has a slightly different technique and you need to find the shot that works for you but still achieves the same goal. Thanks to this video, for the first time I actually managed to play some bandeja/vibora shots that felt super comfortable, went deep enough into the opponent's court and didn't feel as high risk shots at all. The key for me was the grip: I play most of my shots with a really tight grip and all my fingers really close together. Yesterday I just focused on loosening the grip on overheads, making sure my fingers are spaced more + "trigger finger" grip and focusing on almost "throwing" the racket and letting gravity do the work as German mentions. The difference with how I played my overheads before is immense and the main eye opener for me was how relaxed you need to play this shot. I guess just like in real life, sometimes things go way easier in padel if you just let them happen vs. trying to force things 😉

Super comment! I totally agree! The more you will play it, the more lose you can hold the racket

Sven in the beginning the second guy hits 3 balls. But how would u defend those? One of those the movement seems the same but the ball goes so hard and far out that u have to run but the 2 before u probably turn
@Dennenmusics2 ай бұрын
Hard balls you should try to block vefore the wall. But when they are hitting from up to down you have a lot nore time than you think.
@OtroNivelPadelАй бұрын
Well.. In the beginning you might get suprised by this hard shot. But if he is only able to do this version you can go forwards before he is about to hit the bandeja

visualisation, working with eyes closed, mimicking, using camera and so on work well with everybody. Too many words can kill the message cz everybody has a different interpretation of these; words are relative... 😏
