hello sven, how do you get a nice lateral rotation. When I do my vibora I don't have the impression that the ball goes sideways when it hits the back window. Yet I freeze my position! thank you for your response

Right, if footwork well prepped and racket ready to pick up the ball just learn to follow the trajectory of the ball and with your steps towards the rebounds 🎾mind and determination with a plan for every ball trains your focus too.

Hoi Sven, ik zie dat je speelt met de El Jefe Master edition. Wat is het verschil met de originele El Jefe?
@OtroNivelPadelКүн бұрын
Deze is iets krachtiger en behendiger voor mijn gevoel. Minder sponsachtig
@lucasdesanty2377Күн бұрын
@ ah kijk! Thanks for the quick reply Sven! Appreciate it 💪

giving or not giving any comment on the technique? Take it or leave it. Aliss and Bojana need higher racket prep for vibora => 90°-90° prep, standing sideways till the end of the shot. Aliss, u bend forward when hitting the ball (tennis smash remnant) and doing so y'r not constantly hitting the ball on the same spot (sometimes lower, higher or more in front of u) Both the aim sd b hitting the ball at armlength in front of u. BH volley is still a tennis volley which whom u miss accuracy. Cheap comment from behind a screen so do not send me any money for it 😅 Keep up with these training sessions with Sven! Success 🙂

Your mindset is correct. I have coached so many tennis players, adults, that have the problem of playing matches using the same old tired strokes that they can hit with average ability. They ruin their game by competing at the same time they take lessons and don't try their new shots during their matches for fear of losing. It is so frustrating. I had gotten a woman to serve incredibly more relaxed, using a relaxed grip, continental grip, with kinetic chain from her core, finishing with pronation of her wrist. Increased her speed by 25 mph with 75 per cent consistency on both serves. What does she immediately do? Signs up for league play in a doubles group and refuses to try out her new serve technique under match play. She reverted back to the ugly pancake dink serve in matches and actually had the nerve to tell me that I ruined her serve. I dropped her as a client the next day and refunded her money. Needless to say, she has reverted to her ugly strokes and get injured more.

Thank you so much for all your tips. You've done a lot of excellent videos. Most of them talk to one person who is trying to learn but at some stage in the learning process one has to become two. Videos who would talk to two learners who try to progress together and play as a team like this one are VERY helpful as well. More of this kind would be great.

Nice tips. I'm just starting out, about a month in. I'm currently trying to work on my positioning when returning from corners and/or the glass. Also, getting my serves consistent and good. I'm left handed and serving left to right seems to be more difficult for me. I really want to improve both serve game and keeping balls in play. Also, I need to start communicating. I feel like I'm making many of the same small mistakes almost every time I play.

I recently started to play padel, no background in any ball sport in the past, and using the Continental grip. Now after like 8 to 10 matches I feel some muscle soreness at the point of my elbow, the muscles around that point bone thats at it elbow. 2 questions: 1) is this normal? nd 2) how to prevent or get rid of this soreness
@ClintCambier198815 күн бұрын
Check the following: - do you have to grip the racket firmly? It should fit your hand without being afraid to "drop it" --> if you have a tense grip your forearm muscles are tense and that will cause problems - did you play in wet circumstances? That causes the balls to soak up a lot and become heavy and thus more strain on your arm - focus on his explanation here on playing "smooth / relaxed"
@OtroNivelPadel15 күн бұрын
Play with a racket with eva soft: round. You should get a coach to look at your techniue.
@briankoefoed929913 күн бұрын
Slow and longer warmups will help you. Also hold back a litlle not using 100% when smashing. It takes a while to build strong muscles and tendonds - a lot more than 10 matches.
