Nice story, weird you'd point this out as I'm pretty sure this falls under thee same tariff deal the japanese have with the USA, where they had to build vehicles here to avoid tariffs and btw that policy worked fucking great. Just weird when I know CATO is 100% against tariffs that you'd show a story that is a tariff success story.

The tariff on cars is only 2.5% on cars made outside North America, and nothing is stopping Kia from manufacturing cars in Mexico where there is no tariff thanks to NAFTA.

@georgegillespie3737 65% of a car has to be made in the USA in order to meet NAFTA requirements if I remember right.
