The unification of Germany!! I spent several years there and there were still signs of when they were separate. Interestingly enough, I was in Germany when they went to the Euro.

I feel like a universal monetary system would be beneficial to everyone in the world. Having so many different monetary systems causes so much extra work for the economy and world as a whole !

I wasn't born that Year but Interesting West and East Germany but 1991 Soviet Union was collapsed they where been Separated.

They only had weeks left to officially exist at that point they were essentially like a slightly more autonomous regional government rather than a completely separate country
