Frank Stella, whose monochromatic paintings and twisting sculptures consistently pushed against the boundaries of art, died Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the age of 87. I feel like my illustration classes were based on the foundations that Frank Stella laid down so many years ago. It's his work that I remember the most. A Legend is gone, his Legacy lives on.
