Do you think i should get a 2000 size reel or 2500 size for 8lb braid, keep it up

sorry for late reply. For bream fishing 6lb braid and 6lb leader. if u get a thinner braid 8lb would be ok on 2500. i wouldnt recommend 8lb braid running through a 1-3kg rod though. Keep in mind when selecting line is it ROD GUIDE friendly. Eg line specs on rod.
