Do missiles need anything other than a warhead? If so, trully, no magnets, no fuel, no propellers, just a giant missile/torpedo filled to the brim with missile shaped warheads that split close to the enemy, and pepper it like an oversized explosive frag.

Loving the series Lathrix! So glad you've gotten back into FTD, however i am curious as to whether you would try out 'Space Engineers' it is a voxel based sandbox/survival game, takes some time to learn everything however its similar to FTD, anyways, keep up the amazing work!

One thing I've always enjoyed about the Khorne Flake is the fact that it's made of wood but constantly firing missiles and thruster bursts, making it in perpetual danger of simply catching fire and exploding.

Lath, you brought me back to FtD too, and with 400 hours in the game I built my roughly fifth functional ship. It's a twin-boom propeller-driven cram bomber costing just under 8k resource, travels at 40ms^-1, and because of the large wings it goes down in about 2 hits. Still, it's super stable in flight, so it's progress :)

You still need a destroyer for your fleet. In stelaris terms you already got a bombardment cruiser and a corvette. A boat a bit smaller then the mortar with an advanced cannon and swarm rockets.

I think you should make a khorne heavy bomber. It would have an ACB system for the back so it could move fast normally but slow down when close to the enemy and then it would bomb using cram. Simple weapons with custom shells could be used to rupture enemy insides. It could use the shield ring too!

You can use propulsion for multiple things... you could use your side dediblades for vertical thrust AND roll, by setting it to roll and pusher in the q menu. just make sure your total adds up to 1, because if it goes over 1 the blades will saturate on one input and be unable to control the other input.

I had a silly idea. So looking through the tool tips, ejected advanced cannon shells from clips are still volatile. So you could theoretically make a Advanced Cannon bomber to go with the Cram Cannon Bombers. It is very silly, but it could work.

Little hint lathrix, the APS is now about 4 times more expensive, but hits harder. Chemical warheads in APS now have linear stacking so explosive is good again, recoil now pushes and rolls vessels, and heat buildup and recoil cause inaccuracy.
