I have a name suggestion for the misle tank: the fun death of the desert. Some lore: nobody knows the real story of them and their names. But some say a manager of the scrappers made a joke about shooting fireworks from a truck because they would go out with a bang. But some workers took this to sirious and actually build it. They werent that effective but good enough for use. Now known as the fun death from the desert because it was just ment as a bad joke.

@Lathland I built a Tank Destroyer for your campaign, as I think you need a bit more firepower. Would you like to test it in your current campaign. I don't know how effective it is going to be. It has a 457mm HESH cannon that fires 20 shots/minute. I used 4m Autoloaders and 10 piece shells. *Updated version stats:* - improved positioning of turret internals. Improved turret armor; 3 layered (heavy - metal - wood) - increased hull height to accomodate larger turret basket; volume raised to 1980; cost to 19500 - added system redundancy - improved the protection of the main magazine; magazine detonations are now far less likely - improved combat endurance; 80 minutes worth of fuel; 5 minute of continuous fire at 20 shots/minute - shields added protect the front and sides of the craft; no rear shielding; Most shields set to be invisible, where space allowed me to fit a colour changer. Shell design is: 5x Gunpowder, Base Bleeder, Inertia Fuse (2°), 2x HE Warhead Body, Squashead Tests were done against various flyers, installations and thrustercraft. Gun accuracy is good. Often caused critical damage within 3 to 4 hits. Especially against well armored targets. Lore: Scrappers came by a deserted Shipyard, where workers ran away due to fear of being killed in the chaos of the revolution. They found a few finished 457mm cannons originally intended as Shore Batteries. It was decided to incorporate these into an armored vehicle. They cut out armor sections of a unfinished Battleship they found in the shipyard and welded those into a tank chassis. 2 small engines were sourced and crammed into the back of the chassis; alongside some fuel, ammo and the main control systems for the vehicle. And thus was born the Hornet Tank Destroyer. Currently unpainted; Not pretty, but functional. Since you are fighting slower heavy armored targets, just an Idea, Do they still have the kinetic tips with variable thrusters maybe you could set them to ramp up over say 5 seconds so they increase speed as they go but have the mobility early on to catch things that are close but really rail the targets at range? just an idea could be fun mate ^_^

35:19 It's actually a bug. If the shell is longer than the barrel than the barrel that fires it, the inaccuracy value will spike up to 80°. Some shells can even go backwards. Thankfully, only APS are affected.

Dont refine the vehicles to much, your scrappers, their imperfection suits the backstory, while the pharoh tanks are remenants of the empire, and thus much stronger then anything else, but as we are seeing, often outnumbered

My previous bits of lore: Helium Drone Name and Lore: The Flying Bomb - The epitome of drunk science, the Flying Bomb was the Scrappers' attempt at cheaply replacing the Man O' War, one of their earlier attempts at a quadcopter. The Flying Bomb was originally meant to be more of a blimp, but, due to the materials the Scrappers had at hand, they were much too heavy. To remedy this, they broke down some of the old Man O' Wars and repurposed their heliblades as lift and thrust support. The R&D department had been working for a while on Quantum Locking Technology, allowing the Flying Bomb to have a few small support craft remotely anchored within a small radius of the anchor point. The Flying Bomb was named as such because of it's fragility, and the fact that compressed helium has a nasty habit of exploding dramatically. Or perhaps burning off slowly. Who can predict what will happen? It was designed whilst the R&D department had just had a large Valentine's day celebration and were all drunk. Extra Lore for the Missile Craft: For on top of anything else you choose. The craft fires missiles specially developed by the Scrappers' R&D department. These missiles (codenamed "Sidewinders") can work effectively in the air, or on the ground, slithering through the sand much like its namesake.

lore: while looking for new ways to cram in as much stuff in their vehicles as possible. the scrappers found the best way to cram in more storage in their ship was to have them outside the ships. so cores were made to fit the need of vehicles that didn't have room for materials, healing, armor, and maybe even weapons some day. and the machine to test such "revolutionary technology " was the shaman. a massive box of death built using an old computer they scrapped and turned into a AI' the hull of a tank from the onyx watch they scavenged that they cut into pieces and were put back together as armor, and finally they used some tech from the old drones of the great crisis that was rebuilt to be bigger and a bit more stable. they named it the shaman because the man who saw it thought it was some kind of demonic machine fed on the power of khorn or something

If you use 800ish worth of resource containers for the pipeline node you'll hit max resource sharing range& it's *so* much faster - and less teethgrinding - to build the whole thing. I do it compulsively but I've learned to build as I take tiles rather than all at once or I'll start hating the campaign. Might I suggest you build a *tank* with a rotating turret using beamrider missiles? they're smoke proof, as it's a tank it can get in the battle so they're shorter range, and as they're bramriders you can use thumper heads to save even more fuel. I built one as an experiment a while ago & it's been good solid damage. It's also far more interesting.

I'd really like to see either a CRAM-based design, or a portable version of the Steel Curtain. The latter might be a complete death sentence to the LIghtning Hoods, seeing as they rely on shields and speed for defence. Also, that last battle was great (even if it was so spread out). Also Lathrix I love just about every series you do, but FtD is my favorite. Mostly because your worst builds generally out preform my best. I simply don't have the time personally to learn the game well enough to ever get very far. But I am really curious, with your extensive knowledge on the game, do you think it would be possible to make a warp based fighter/bomber? You keep bringing up designing a new bomber. I would love to see you try your hand at something completely different than what you normally do
