Love your dye videos, but long do your premixed dye last.

I use up most of my mixed dye regularly but it does have a long shelf. I have dye that I haven't used for months and it's fine.

Love your videos! How high is your acid concentration? Is that how you don't end up with muddy yarns? High acid?

That's wonderful! Thanks for watching. Yes I do use more acid when I want the dye to adhere quickly to the yarn which is usually the case when I dye multi colour yarns. The opposite is the case when I dye solid colours.

When you heavily speckle do you usually do just one side or do you process the yarn and then flip it and do the other side?

Yes I do both sides. I check that the dye has fully adhered on one side before flipping to do the other.
