Timmerman is the reason I'm a pilot today. Grew up less than a mile away and seeing the planes going in and out of the airport and training from there sparked my interest. One thing not mentioned in this video that pilots should be aware of is that with the proximity of the turf and paved runways, your taxi clearances almost always involve clearance to cross both runways in the same instruction.

The biggest hazard at Timmerman is the lack of options if you lose your engine after takeoff. And traffic from 02C hasn’t strayed into the Delta for years. The advancement of ADS-B and moving maps has pretty much eliminated that problem.
