Imagine the open ocean-the vast expanse of the Pacific, where the waves ripple against the horizon and silence dominates, broken only by the hum of engines. Suddenly, in this endless blue, two giants appear. On one side, a U.S. Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, a symbol of unparalleled naval strength, cutting through the waters with its strike group in formation. On the other, a Chinese aircraft carrier, the Fujian or Liaoning, steaming ahead with its own escort fleet. These two behemoths of modern naval power are on a collision course-not physically, but strategically. What happens when these rival carriers meet in international waters?
This is the scenario we’ll dive into today-a tense encounter between two of the world’s most powerful navies. While the events we’re about to describe are hypothetical, they draw heavily from real incidents and protocols, giving us a glimpse into the high-stakes chess game of naval diplomacy and strategy.

I forgot what the numbers were now, but the US can launch a LOT more planes a LOT faster. Something like 7 planes to their 1 or 2. Then, because they use a ramp, their planes have to be light (not carry much fuel or weapons). They are not capable of traveling from their own shores as no way to refuel where the US (needing Jet Fuel) can get it from Hawaii, the Philippines, Guam, etc., etc. They both can carry and launch planes - after that it's comparing Apples to rocks - nothing even remotely close. The Islands they made are sinking. Turns out to be a big expensive failure on their part.

And we have deployed autonomous sea weapons. Autonomous sea mines, autonomous sea vessels that can hide and operate on command. China would be best to steer itself to democratic governing.
