Hi thanks for reviewing our mod! I will say the mod is best experienced on longer game sessions. He is never aggressive just does small things to creep the player out. Building the shrine doesn’t make him more active it’s just an easy way to skip the 3 day delay on survival. Great video though!

If you have on subtitles in the game with the mod installed, when making the shrine, you can see "I'm watching..." or something like that. Super cool detail that I absolutely love. And if you have a dog, if heorbrine is near, your dog will growl

Lemme tell you I had this mod installed on my multiplayer world and I was strip mining. I heard footsteps and him mining and left immediately to check if my friend was on. He wasn't. I literally refuse to play the world alone now lol

I think this mod does everything right except one thing. I feel like there should be a way to get rid of him. Obviously it's as if your world is being corrupted by him, that's cool, but it doesn't make much sense does it if you can't actually do anything about it. That is something I'd want to see but I doubt these people are going to make anything like this. At some point, the stalking and all the mechanics become boring and not scary. Eventually it's just not scary. However, if he could actually kill you and completely destroy your world that would be a different case, then he should be confrontable. I don't know, seems like a missed opportunity. And don't come at me with "I like that he's scary and only stalks", it's not scary, sorry man, but it's not. He should be an actual threat to your world and your life. Anyways loved the showcase and this mod is good for it's stalking mechanics. Let me know what you think of what I said.

​@@lookatyourmailbox exactly, if you want Herobrine be more aggresive you can change some options in the mod. But I think he is invincible, as you say, it would be great if Herobrine could be eliminated. If you can provoke him by hitting him or by invoking the shrine to have a death match and if you defeat him your world will be calm forever although there will be signs that he didn't die completely (like structures, signs, doors opening, etc). To bring him back to life you would have to summon him again with the shrine. This is a good idea.

In this mod he is more aggressive, chases you around, posseses mobs, builds structures and he can be fought by building a shrine. But the coolest thing is, that Herobrine can talk to you through signs in that mod. Me and my friends played with that mod on a server and Herobrine sent me on some random sidequests, calling me: "The Chosen one". I had to rescue his dog or build some shrines for him, which was rewarded by diamonds and other stuff. After me and my friends killed him, he dropped his head. We sealed his head somewhere safe in a museum but Herobrine somehow returned, although very weakened. He wrote a sign to one of my friend, which commanded him to return his head to him. Because of that we had a battle for the Herobrine head. Overall it was very fun and also a bit spooky. I defenetly recommend you put The End of Herobrine and From the Fog together.

Honestly, I think the mild 'griefing' thing he does is just pure RNG. It isn't a rare occurence, it just depends on how lucky you are. On my survival world, I had him break blocks while I mined on Day 3 (and a redstone torch on 4 while I was in the mines too), and then open a door before I could around Day 15. He doesn't even particularly appear a lot for me, and it's been 30 in-game days for me lol.

You may need to download the datapack and load it in your resource pack list. It contains resource pack textures for the mod to load. Others with similar issues have reported doing this fixes texture issues with the mod.
