Fantastic video! I was shocked that several pilots were developing their fascination and love for helicopeters as children, observing them when living close to hospitals. Thats how my love for helicopters was developing as well. I never became a fullsize helicopter pilot, but now I am completely in love with RC helicopters and have deep passion for flying them. A small compensation!

It's amazing how becoming familiar with helicopters at a young age, and seeing them in a positive light can have such an impact of people to become pilots, or developing a passion for rotorcraft in general! Thank you for sharing!

@@coptersafety Yes, when I watched your video and listened to the stories of these pilots I was so surprised how many of them have seen helicopters at very young age and fell in love forever. Thank you for your friendly reply, although I am only flying RC helis!

You should find a flight school near you and book a discovery flight! Its an introductory flight they let you hop on controls. Experience the magic of it even if you dont plan on getting certified.
@RCCopterLoveАй бұрын
@@masonsilva7367 I was many times tempted to do so, even contacted a company nearby offering introductory flights on a Robinson R44. But as I am 64 years old now I decided to just fly my fully manually controlled (3D mode) loved collective pitch RC helicopters almost every day. It might be hard to resist to continue if I would love flying fullsize helicopters it as much as I think. I was flying gliders in my youth and was learning very fast to fly them... Thankfully I disliked the landings under speed and sitting 30 cm above the ground so much, that I stopped. With helicopters this disadvantage does not exist! So the dilemma would be too big once I tried it.

Thanks for the video, you guys wrapped it together nicely on the time, dedication & involvement into the life of a full time pilot. (From a career & family perspective.) I never even thought of the possibility of being a heli-pilot myself until I was about 27 years old. But when it hits you it is hard to ignore the passion for the 'noise' it brings. I am not flying full time and most days are glad that I have another career going. Keep it up, you guys are doing great work. Kudos from Cape Town, South Africa! 💪🚁😎

Amazing film! 😊This video perfectly demonstrated the life of a helicopter pilots. Nice to see these pilots how likes their jobs. And we could see a little part of his family backgrund whitch is very importatnt also. To do this job with a well-ballanced family backgrund is necessary. My father was an EMS helicopter pilot here in Hungary (now retired).I flew with him many time by an EC-135 and MIL Mi-2 helicopters. That was fantastic!
