That accident is why I always wear gloves. At least fingerless gloves. I notice no glasses either. I don’t know how people do that, when riding with others I always have Little Rock’s and pieces of dirt hitting my glasses. They do such a great job picking people for this project. I have loved them all.

My wife and I have really enjoyed this series as a whole, and love the mission, but the new format for this season is a let down. The choice to focus each episode on one rider is bad for pacing. It's at once jarring to go all the way from zero to the warmup race, and also tedious to go back to the beginning with each new rider. Also to focus on one athlete at a time causes us to miss the comeradery between riders. We can't imagine ourselves along with them and to see their journey. It's somehow both abrupt and dragged out. I'd really hope that you go back to the old format next season.
