Bear in mind this is only the _observable_ Universe. The entire Universe is way bigger, more like 20, 30, 40 orders of magnitude bigger than the observable one. And it covers more dimension than the 3D we're familiar with. It's like comparing a tiny line the size of your DNA fragment, versus a Universe-sized hypersphere.

Distances in space are calculated by the time it takes the light from any object to reach us, using the speed of light, to calculate that distance, because normal distance measurements, would be too large. I still can’t fathom how we have the capability to measure at these distances. We certainly don’t have the means to travel to other galaxies. Space is infinitive. As far as we know, it has no end. So what lies beyond space if anything at all? Is there a heaven or only space? Is space our so called heaven? I only believe in what I see with the exception of the air we breathe. Other than that, I need the physical proof.

With God all things are possible including the possibility that he created other lifeforms in galaxies billions of miles away from us. It does not specifically state in the Bible that God ONLY created the heavens and the Earth only that he created them. That being said our salvation here on Earth is what's important.
