Esther's favorite and most successful film, not least b/c she and co-star Victor Mature were at it like crazed minks during the production. She wrote that Annette Kellermann visited the set (though not the premiere) and approved the authenticity of the Hippodrome back stage, but she regretted that Esther did not attempt an Aussie accent.
