A masterpiece from Ganguly. The way he hits those offside strokes with some of them using his wrists were the best in world cricket. Dada was always a treat to watch while batting. Even his sixes of Saqlain is a testimony of his batting class. A wonderful knock. My all time favorite fast bowler Wasim Bhai was also seen here. The inswinging Yorker delivery from him which eventually got Ganguly out was a piece of genius.

Every batsman had his limitations. Sehwag had a very big limitation of poor footwork. He nullified that with strong reflexes but after a certain age he struggled. Dravid was technically better than any other batsman but struggled in ODI many a times due to ever increasing scoring rate standards. Dhoni also had great issues playing spin which he had to correct later. Everyone has limitations and only a few players like Sachin and ABD i have seen have perfection upto 99.99%

Actually Reality is Dada is way better as batsman than dhoni Capactaincy may be Dhoni some up because he won all prestigious trophy of Icc But I think in this comparison is not true Actually when Dada take the lead then Indian team has its worst era in cricket,Dada Completely change the attitude,bring young talents,and make such a strong team. On the other hand Dhoni also great but I give him less point then Dada because he doing that all famous achievement by which team has Dada made,so he never understand the toughness of that job. For me Dada and Dhoni both r India's most successful captain ever.

​@@manjunathgobbani lol Ganguly was no doubt, great captain. But your statement is wrong. Ganguly had, Laxman, Dravid, Sachin, Shewag, Zaheer, Javagal, Anil Kumble and Harbhjan all on their prime. Ganguly definitely changed the way people looked Indian team in overseas conditions and most importantly tought how to fight. When Dhoni took over everyone was out of form and he went with a young team to win first CB series in Australia. A young team that won ICC t20 world cup. he built the team for the world cup. The way he changed running between the wickets, fitness, and fielding of the Indian team is commendable and most importantly, he didn't let his team choke in major tournaments. Made a mentally strong team. Both have great contributions. Don't be a hater. Having an opinion is Good but hate not good. and @Deepak kuchh achha bhi likh liya karo, hago mat. Stay to the topic. No one talked about Dhoni here.

Surya R pakistan fielding, being worst throughout the history was way better than Indian fielding until 2013-14. Now Indian cricket has raised its standards and I admit they're way better than pakistan in most of the departments.
