By that logic, I think it will be a good idea to restart this.. The matches were in Australia. You take one guy from each country and ask them to play in Australia. That's not an ideal proposition. I think the result would be same if rest of the world is played against India in India or England in England. You can only bring the best players. But how can I bring the coordination between them in one or two days? Rest of the world team is at clear disadvantage when compared to Australia.

Australian Captain know the conditions, his players weaknesses, their stregths and he even had the experiece of experimenting with them. And the Aussies players are playing for their country and in their own country. On the otherhand, the so called experienced players are playing under a new Captain, for n new team. You know none of them have the motivation which Aussies players have. See if Rest Of India losses what is that the players are going to lose? Nothing. They are not playing for their country.

How old are you? seems you don't know about the West Indies Team Captained by Clive Lloyd, there where hardly any team that could have made over 200 against there four prong pace attack, a mixture of Roberts, Holding, Marshall, Croft, Garner, Patterson, Ambrose Walsh,Wicket keeper Dujon, mixture of batters of the caliber of Haynes, Greenidge, Richards, Rowe, Fredricks, Richardson, Gomes, Lloyd himself all master batsmen. no team could beat them over a long period of time. I think this Team is the strongest ever over about 15-20 years.

West Indies had the greatest bowling attack in cricket history consisting the likes of Michael Holding, Sir Andy Roberts, Joel Garner, Malcolm Marshall and Colin Croft.
