Just Came here to Congratulate Umar Gul on his fantastic career.. Surrounded with some terrible and trouble making teammates, this guy was always down to earth and far away from controversies. Coming to his bowling, Gul is definitely the best pacer in IntT20s. He was probably unplayable in death overs. Even legend like MS Dhoni was unable to deal his mind blowing yorkers.. He makes my all time t20I XI alongwith Malinga, Narine and Afridi. Have a happy retirement life to one of the most underrated yet successful cricketer from an Indian fan 🇮🇳

Deepa laxman What are you talking about lol? He took 13 wickets in the 2007 T20 World Cup and 13 wickets in the 2009 T20 World Cup (including best bowling of 5-6). He may not have had such a stellar record in the longer format but he always tried hard and produced some memorable spells across his whole career!

Umer Gul was soooo fatal Blower in t20 cricket .. his yorkers and short deliveries were like playing with fire...

Fawad Alam is not just a good fielder, he is a very humble personality as well. His batting style is unorthodox but man he can bat and can bat long. I have rarely seen him get out. He was labelled with slow strike rate but was never given a chance in test cricket either. Remember the 2014 Asia Cup, Pak vs Ban, Afridis heroics, Fawad Alam was at the other end with 74 from 70 balls and then was selfishly ran out by Umer Akmal. The final between Pak vs Sri Lanka, he scored 114 from 134 deliveries where all bating line flopped apart from Misbah (65 of 98 deliveries) and Fawad. After these 2 innings, it seemed he has made his place in the team, but no, he was never given a chance after that. It is a sad sad story. May Allah shower his blessings on the rest of his career.
