Anyone else here who remembers Ponting's press conference statement? He acknowledged this as the most difficult spell of bowling he's ever faced.

But now he says it's Flintoff from the 2005 Ashes
@sagaracoustics99434 жыл бұрын
@@jayeshk.d.3429 ya that's strange. All he faced flintoff there was 5 balls, not a spell or even an over. Whereas here Ishant was just at him ball after ball over after over
@sagaracoustics99434 жыл бұрын
@@krishnarajagopalan528 yeah. Ponting is undoubtedly one of the GOAT. That's why a 19 year old bowler making the best batsman of the greatest team struggle on his home turf is no joke.
@sauravmukerji62423 жыл бұрын
@@sagaracoustics9943 you're talking like an an ass, Ponting had an end of his career then, that's why ishant make him trouble...otherwise I Ishant is nothing bowler in front of a batsman like Ponting, when Ponting was in full blow then he has smashed easily Donald, wawar, wasim, Akhtar, in front of them, Ishant would be a big zero
@sagaracoustics99433 жыл бұрын
@@sauravmukerji6242 First of all read where I called him G.O.A.T. and best batsman. We all hold great regards for him. Moreover, ponting acknowledged this spell himself, so a 19 year old bowler should be applauded for that. Secondly, Ponting played another 5 years after this test so was nowhere near his career end. Lastly, your comparison is utter rubbish because then Harbhajan troubled him in his prime, that does not make Ponting any less of a batsman or bhajji the greatest bowler and definitely doesn't make Ishant a zero. It's you talking like an ass. Stop taking offences and take notice of his sheer brilliance in 2008

This kind of video clips can't be expected from an Indian KZbin channels/Media where opponents are equally praised....don't know why! Watch Star sports, they never telecast old matches which India have lost 😅
@priestf19644 жыл бұрын
Real fans appreciate good cricket, be it any team or player. The media etc are dumbasses who don't know the beauty of cricket. The Shane warnes the mcgraths the saaed Anwars the Gilchrists and many more legends from teams all over the world. The difference can be spotted even in the commentary. Foreign commentators praise good cricket be it anyone...exceptions in india are Ravi Shastri, Sourav Ganguly etc
