Omg! This was very cool. You give a second life to those beautiful old art works. ❤🎉I liked that old tool & how the handle had wood work on it. It was very unique. 😊

Robin, love this! Question. Do you have a recommendation for re-staining /re-sealing a wood salad bowl? I have to hand-sand it down due to water stains from being accidentally put in the dishwasher. Want to eat out of it again! Thanks!

It really just depends on how bad the spoon is. If it's a discoloration issue, then lemon juice and baking soda, followed by soap and water works. Let air dry. One common home remedy is to mix canola oil (or olive oil) with vinegar. Use 3 parts oil to one part vinegar and apply some of the mixture to a soft cloth and rub the furniture. This will make your wood pieces as good as the day you first bought them. The combination of oil and vinegar can also repair scuffs with ease. If the spoon is badly dirty, you can lightly scrub it with sandpaper. Then, reseason the spoon by wiping it with a neutral oil, like grapeseed or mineral oil, and putting it in a 350°F oven for a couple of minutes Cracks, splinters, or warping: These issues can't be fixed and pose a health risk.Toss the spoon.
