By the way, the 2nd amendment is far from a problem. outside of the cities, we are actually protect ourselves. VERY low crime rates are the result. Your concern over guns results largely from the cities, which are ruled locally by people barely better the Starmer himself. The results are about the same. The real problem with the second amendment is that the UK does have it and worse, are not even allowed to carry pepper spray or stun guns! Prohibited from defending themselves, Brits are let to cower and wonder if they will be next. Will they be the burglary or home invasion that the police will do nothing about? I don't really believe that Brits have lost ALL sense of self-sufficiency, it been ripped from them by force. It's been taxed away from them. It's been legislated out of their hands. Many people living in communist countries do not know how badly constrained they are because they grew up with it and it is all they know. They can't imagine any better. I desperately wish that our British cousins will eventually have a chance to step out into the sunlight again. When they will fear government oppression and overreach more than they fear freedom. If government did not take nearly everything away, only to give it back in dribs and drabs, maybe people would not have to worry about whether the government will let them have heat in the winter.
