Inspired is awesome. I got very interested in wanting to join from one of the videos posted not too long ago on here, and has been one of the best decisions I've made lately. I'm completely brand new, and have been able to learn so much from everyone. I've been stepping away from real estate as a sales agent so my start has been a little slow.. but still have been able to do a few policies! The goal is to be 100% Insurance by end of June / beginning July.

The biggest issue with 1099 is the shady MLMs that only have one carrier and preach the “family and friends” model. They offer zero support or tools and once they’ve drained your circle of influence they happily part ways. Best thing I ever did was only talk with agencies who offered a choice between salary + comp and 1099. Then take the 1099 and you’ll make way more residual income. If they aren’t willing to stand behind you and give you support as an agent, they’re not worth your time and effort.
