From War-Torn Ukraine to Art in Düsseldorf: Zosya

We follow the inspiring journey of 18-year-old Zosya Rosenfeld, a refugee from Kharkiv, Ukraine, who is rebuilding her life as an art student in Düsseldorf. The film is in collaboration with Varvara Mozhaieva, the winner of VICE News' film competition Education In Motion, who also fled from Ukraine herself.

The world needs more wars to allow people who otherwise couldn't go anywhere to pick the location of their dream home and get full support from the local government. All you need is to travel to Switzerland to see with your own eyes how some of these refugees found their dream land without going through 0.04% of the trouble that a legal migrant would go through. War is bliss. It was a bliss for many before, and it is now a bliss for Ukrainians. Making observations like this, Makes you think about how many people couldn't wait to leave their homelands for better places. Educated and qualified and wealthy ones couldn't wait to leave !

As a professional digital artist/animator/3D modeler, I can tell you that her art needs serious improvement unless she can find some kind of modern expressionist art gallery niche after college. With what I saw in this video, shes gonna have a very hard time making money after college with her work. But she's very physically attractive and alluring, which is probably why Vice picked picked her out from the other ukranian refugees who somehow made it to western Europe.

Her name was maria, she was super model gorgeous, tons of friends, she went through boyfriends like they were toilet paper. She was in half my community college traditional art classes. When I finally went to university as an animation major. I heard she was hired by a top graphic design firm in Orlando Florida. The funny thing is... was that, she was a horrible artist, bad with computers, and never graduated from community college. So yes,...there is a lot of truth in what you said. But true artists who are dedicated and strive for perfection every day of their lives know that we stand above the rest.

I grew up in Russia, but don’t live there for approximately 9 years… i was very shocked when the war started … I have many Russians and Ukraine friends in Israel… and genuinely studies and I think understand some of the dynamics of the conflicts …. I recently watched a few Vice news videos and and found myself deeply disappointed in VICE… While I understand that it's challenging for media outlets to cover every minor detail, I felt that Vice present very radical and flat opinions without encouraging critical thinking and further research. It seemed like they often take the most mainstream side and wrap everything in a candy fancy wrapper …. rather than providing a fair perspective (from social and political points of view)…. They don’t do the journalist work… I would say they do either propaganda, fake news, emotional content to trigger our emotions … Note* I absolutely condemn Russian war aggression and I don’t think everything uncertain about this topic.. just there are soo many interesting nuances that can be brought up for people awareness, especially in that so called independent media 🥲
