Hi Silki I'm so glad Apollo is improving. I live in western WA. Pullman and area get lots more snow than I do & higher temperatures in summer. They have all 4 seasons. There are many lakes & rivers in the area. North of Pullman is city of Spokane. What's neat is from suburbs you can be in wheat fields in 15 minutes. Eastern WA has Ponderosa Pine trees & Western WA has Fir trees among many others. The valley with all the trees below the farm hills is probably a river. I am enjoying your driving adventures. Thank you for showing our wonderful WSU. They teach all types of farming in addition to the Veterinary schools. I pray for you and your doggies to heal, less stress and have a safe enjoyable trip.
@silki243 күн бұрын
Thank you Didi ! I was so surprised when I saw the landscape here, the wheat hills , very unique and beautiful, I have been all over Western WA and towards Spokane and in Idaho Caldwell and Boise but I was completely surprised by what I found here. WSU is a beautiful campus and the small animal vet hospital is great, they are so nice , I feel in such good hands here

Thanks for the little Troy visit. I understand that there is a very good restaurant there. Now you need to come south to Lewiston and Clarkson. The Snake river is all that separates them. Lewistons population is somewhere near 33,000. Clarkson is a lot smaller. I am so happy that Apollo is responding well to his treatments. Take care, and drive carefully in the fog.
@silki243 күн бұрын
Thanks for the tip, I will have to check out Lewiston and Clarkson! I saw one restaurant in Troy, it was on the main road but hard to spot from the outside, everything looked closed , it really needed a closer look. There was a very cute coffee shop but unfortunately it closes every day at 2pm.

I pray for your beautiful Apollo for a full recovery and live a long and healthy life. I can highly recommend WSU Vet Hospital at the university in Pullman, WA. They are great vets with much empathy for their patients. In 2004, I took my Toy Red Poodle to WSU Veterinary Hospital for a second opinion on his injured, dislocated leg. The first vet wanted to amputate his hind leg so we drove him to WSU to get a second opinion. They showed us his x-ray of the toggle which broke which held his hip in place. They said to try cage rest for 6 weeks so scar tissue could build up and hold his leg in place. It worked and he lived happily for over 12 years after the accident without amputation! The veterinary department at WSU was a gift from God Almighty!

Those trees you saw on the drive were so huge!! 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲 Its fun to see all the places you go. Looks like some steep slopes and deep valleys too! When I am out on walks I also enjoy looking around corners to see what is there. Who knows what you may see? I am sure you miss your horses. It must be hard to be away from them for so long. Who is taking care of them while you are gone? I saw the horses yesterday. And for the first time I tried liberty. And it was very amazing! Beere was following me without being on a lead. And he stopped when I stopped! I just had this crazy idea out of the blue to try it - unsure why but it just popped into my head - and it actually worked! ❤ 🐎 It is much warmer where you are. I looked up the weather for Pullman WA. At the moment its 32 F there. Here it is 5 F (-15 C) Where my horses are, this morning, it was -13 F (-25 C) We are in an arctic blast! Hope Apollo gets better! Have you heard of the weird drones in NJ? Have heard they may be in other states too.
@silki243 күн бұрын
yes I have heard about the drones, I was actually just following a post on X that had lined up all the videos and pictures, really really weird. Some look like regular planes though. Yes liberty is fun , I do it with all my horses, the nice thing is, they basically do it without training or much training , always a good tool to test whether they like to be with you. SO many bad trainers, if they did it , the horses would flee immediately. Yes it is not that cold here at the moment, I am very happy about that and the fact that there was no snow so far, it started snowing on my way back from Apollo's treatment but it looks like it will be gone tomorrow. Stay warm !!!

Good morning Silki. It is so nice to have you and your lovely perspective in our world. Have you ever been to Kentucky or around Nashville? Depending on where you are both have lots of white fences! 😊 You are as curious as I am. Probably parking….as you are looking at a lot of parked cars?! 😂 I would say that’s a yes! I am thinking in horse…..you are doing very nicely today. I’m guessing you have found a good coffee shop. I have been around many areas in the northeast that look like Trow and Moscow….. always look into their history and now to see if the have a historical society website. It is either a bit informative or if they don’t have anything then maybe a sign of….stubbornness in sticking to “the good old days” or tech resistance or something else possibly at least questionable. I also check negatives in some creative searching…legal cases and scandals are generally enough. You ran into who knows what on propane…..”certain hours” makes no sense legitimately. Glad you found a good solution….national and international companies that can enforce standards are a good thing aren’t they?

I don’t think the US is such a bad place to be. I think it is rather the opposite. Politics is not all in life and media are always trying to hype division. I was many times in the US and I hadn’t have any problem in whatever state I was and I was in nearly all of them.

Dearest Silky, We would like to support Apollo with a little contribution but we’re experiencing difficulties using the “buy me a coffee” page. Our payments are declined and maybe because it’s in US$ and our bank might just support € Euros…… Have you dealt with this issue before and do you have tips how we can support your little Angel? We can do a “thank you” via KZbin but we’re not sure that that is useful for you and your darling. Can you please help us out? Thank you in advance and love and prayers from concerned Pitbull parents in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 PS. My wife just tells me that she would like to become a member of your channel and is experiencing the same issues about payment possibilities. We’re sorry that we don’t own a creditcard, we are just accustomed to debit cards over here. Even Apple Pay didn’t solve the problem. Please help us to help you and Apollo.❤

KZbinmembership often works only on the Computer
@Joergthereader3 күн бұрын
Here’s what the writer (Capt. PitbullDad) can do to solve their payment issue: 1. Use a Platform That Accepts Debit Cards • Check if PayPal or Ko-fi works better for them since both platforms typically allow debit card payments without requiring a credit card. • If these platforms still require credit cards, the writer can explore prepaid debit cards or virtual cards (more details below). 2. Try Prepaid Debit Cards or Virtual Cards • Purchase a prepaid Visa or MasterCard from their local bank or retailer. These cards often work like credit cards for online payments but are preloaded with a specific amount. • Alternatively, use virtual debit card services like Revolut, Bunq, or Wise. These services allow creating a virtual card linked to their bank account, which may bypass the issue. 3. Contact Their Bank • The writer should reach out to their bank to check if their debit card can be enabled for international or USD transactions. • Some banks may block USD payments by default but can enable this upon request. 4. Explore SEPA Transfers • If the content creator provides their bank details (like IBAN), the writer could send a donation via SEPA transfer, which is a standard method for cross-border payments within Europe. SEPA is typically free or very low-cost. 5. KZbin Membership Troubleshooting • If the issue is with KZbin Memberships, the writer should: • Confirm their debit card is valid for online transactions. • Check if KZbin supports memberships in their country with their card type. • Try using Google Pay linked to their bank account, as KZbin often accepts this payment method. 6. Use Apple Pay Correctly • If Apple Pay didn’t work, ensure: • The debit card is properly linked to their Apple Wallet. • Their bank supports Apple Pay for international or USD payments. 7. Consider Family/Friend Help • If none of the above works, the writer could ask someone they trust with a credit card to make the payment on their behalf, then reimburse them in Euros. If the writer takes these steps, they should be able to resolve the payment issue effectively.
@Capt.PitbullDad3 күн бұрын
@ Oh, really. Thank you for reacting, we will check it out. But if there is a payment involved we won’t be able to do that via the computer…. But, it’s a start we will try to figure it out. Thank you again. 👍🏼 🙏
