I think they should change his special attack which also seems pretty useless and is ineffective in most cases... Combined attack movesets like new special attack concept with staff attack followed by real cool movement/swifty animation showcasing his ultimate agility as a monkey would be very great. And as for his lore accurate versatility and mythical prowesses in combat, adding more animations like reanimating the ascension scene is unnecessary, yes but is very well deserving for monkey king because it is for a fact that the developers have never given him something enough to make him feel like a legendary character in the game, let alone his lore accurate characteristics straight out of mythology and him being the mightiest character in friction. Monkey king has been way too weak and underpowered only in sf4 and no other game so far. This time they should finally do something crazy about him man.

There are probably also good kick special moves and at least 1 staff special attack in Shadow Fight 3 that would be perfect for the Monkey King. There is no need to even look for attacks from cartoons or other games, because they just need to copy what is already in their own game.

They should add a victory pose for the Monkey King where he mocks or laughs at his enemies. For the heavy kick move, there should be various animations using his staff, emphasizing his acrobatic skills. For a back kick, he could jump onto a tree that appears, similar to how glass appears for Jet, then spring back to kick his opponent with both feet. For his stance, the Monkey King could be shown jumping through tree branches into the battlefield.

monkey kings epic weapon is already kinda like the stone ability his shadow clone could be like shogun's from sf2 he could have an immobilize spell like midnights freeze ability what he needs now is his cloud somersalt, it could be his jump key instead of a double front flip and covers further distance

They should add different staffs as a rare weapon in the game. Every rare staff will have its own unique property, like water, fire, wind, earth and so on.. once the bar is full it can be activated for a short duration.

I’ve been playing this game for two years, and when I first saw the Monkey King hero, I was excited to try him out. However, I ended up disappointed. Many of his attacks are almost identical to the stick weapon moves from Shadow Fight 2, offering nothing truly unique besides standing on his staff and a couple of basic jingle techniques. There are three legendary heroes who genuinely inspire fear: June, ITU, and KOTL. But when it comes to the Monkey King, I can’t understand why Nekki made him a legendary joke. Facing him doesn’t evoke any fear at all. On the other hand, Jet, despite being a rare hero, is feared by most players for just one powerful attack. It’s not enough to simply change MK's talents or speed up his attack animations. Come on, Nekki, the Monkey King fights gods-he deserves unique moves and special jingle techniques. Even bots are using the same moves as MK. I hope Nekki reworks him and gives him the unique move, attack and abilities he deserves.

maybe his staff should be able to change size during any normal staff attack just like SF2 telescopic staff. But they'd have to completely redesign its moveset because SF2 telescopic staff is garbage. I don't want a 3 second recovery time on monkey king where he just stands there. Transforming is a real ability in the lore, and transforming into stone is a decent idea. I wish they could do more for MK than just make his heavenly attacks faster.
