To this day I still hate Konan’s death out of all of these. It was a pure Plot progression death and a cheap way for Obito to get the rinnegan. If Obito could do such deadly genjutsu why didn’t he use any of them in the war? Literally not a single Genjutsu except the moon eye plan itself. And on top of that Konan was never ever mentioned beyond this point. Nagato didn’t even mention that he seen her in the afterlife when he was revived. She was literally just tossed away as a character. I would’ve rather have her experience the peace era and even see her in the Boruto series or something.

The rest of the Akatsuki were straight up crazy, only joining the organization for their own selfish reasons, which pain didn't mind as long as they completed their missions
