Great tip, thanks. I'd love to see more about cleaning up the area near the oil pump, if you're willing to share that.

I’ve seen CNC port work that’s been done in oil pump area but not this drain back area. Makes slot of sense. Piston guys have been deburring inside of blocks since ages ago.

I've seen that before, but wasn't sure I could grind it off. Thank you, Kyle! BBBRRAAPP

I currently have a 1997 Miata and an 1987 RX7. The Miata is getting a full teardown at the moment so doing a lot of the things like radiusing oil passages from the filter, but for both cars, one of the very first things I did was to take all the external parts such as the intake and exhaust manifolds, and shave off all that flashing on the *outside* and hit some of the non critical sharp machined edges with a file to just make it safer for my hands to work around the engine and not slice my skin open on everything.

Hi Kyle. I'm new to rotarys and will hopefully be getting my first rx8 some time soon. I will be turning it into a drift car. I'm think about motor options and boost options for about 300 - 350whp. In your experience whats the cost of a turbo hybrid renesis to a standard turbo renesis thats been upgraded to handle the boost
