In all honesty Ian, the AC 2 litre was a car which I regarded in the past as a rather dowdy, if not ugly, machine. Thanks to having watched all your postings documenting the restoration of your car I’ve had to completely revise my opinion of it, I now find it to be a fascinating and, if not yet handsome, certainly much more appealing example of immediate post war styling. The interior is lovely, a real slice of old British quality and understatement which has sadly now fallen out of favour. I shall follow your restoration diligently, both the car and your presentation have definitely rung a bell with me.
