I learned this as a "chancery", great move for beginners. But When I say "chancery" nobody knows what I'm talking about so I relearned the move as "cow catcher" and"cement job". I'm trying to find a chain move to it if it doesn't work. This 30 year video was very technical super impressed with his instruction.

Hehe if you really want anachronisms check the old sowjet instructional videos in black and white, from the 80´s. Looks like the 50´s but opens with 1987.

No that's a different grip. That is a front headlock where you grab the arm with your arm that hangs over the head and your other arm just grabs the outside of the same arm your first arm is grabbing

One of several names. We called it a chancery 50 years ago when I learned it. I didn't hear any other names until many years later.
