Additionally, he is smart enough to observe by those he meets on a routine basis that a lot of money and property doesn't necessarily mean a happier, better life. And if AH says she did her own make-up, then ask her to demonstrate her make up skill on someone who has bruises and swelling. Doesn't that make more sense? @@coolness4098 ; Having been a small business owner for over 20 years, and have had as many as 250+ employees, I can honestly say that over the past 2 years, finding people with even a 1/2 decent work ethic is few and far between. 4 years ago, we would place an ad - looking to hire, and we would receive 25 applications for each position we were looking to fill. Now, we get 2… *very occasionally* there will be 3. That would be bad enough, but the 3 we get usually have no respect for their job, their fellow workers (by showing up on time, keeping your area maintained, and ensuring the job they’ve been hired to do is completed on time and done properly, so the next guy isn’t having to get behind schedule by waiting for late work or having to take the time to correct the issues or finish what the guy before him was supposed to do), nor respect the people who gave him the job (always 15 minutes late to work, leaves 5 minutes early for lunch, returns 10-15 minutes late, and clicks out 5-10 minutes before the end shift… not to mention the 8-10 bathroom breaks he takes in between - each lasting 10 minutes. Yet, he’s the first one to complain if he’s effected by the poor work or delayed work from another employee. Then, w/in 6 months, he “no call/no shows” for 2 days (as his way of quitting.. no notice, nothing), because he’s ticked he didn’t get a 5% raise at his 90 day performance review. This, on top of 3 employees in our management system (2 from one of our businesses, and 1 from another) stealing **considerable** amounts of $$$ from us. There’s so much more I could explain, but - suffice it to say; finding a guy like this 👆🏻, who pays attention to his job, looks people in the eye while listening, is patient with “diva customers” who believe *they* are the only clients of ours who really counts, has no use for gossip or BS - because he truly feels as if life’s too short to waste it on crap that’s just *crap*. These are the most assinine questions from Amber's lawyer. Who looks at people's makeup unless they're dressed like the Joker? Even women wouldn't notice. And the judge is totally fed up with that questioning too. Elaine should have been fired.

I know!! And one day like six years ago. Who could remember even if they recognized makeup!? You’re right I’m a woman I even wear make up, I wouldn’ and I’d be fed up if asked. It’s an absurd point to belabor. This makes her lawyers come across irritating and desperate. But after thinking about it, Im trying not to judge them. I mean, they’re not idiots. They must know how this looks. They try this so that maybe they get a weakness, an inconsistency, a slip-up… anything! This is the best they can do! Ambers case for DV is so weak that they have to clutch at straws like this and annoy everyone!

This is a hard working Hispanic man. I'm Hispanic and I can honestly say that these men don't go to work to look at what people are wearing or what the makeup or hair looks like. One thing though, a Hispanic man will absolutely notice any bruising on a woman and especially on her face. Hispanic men are VERY protective of women, whether it's their woman (relative or otherwise) or not. He would've definitely noticed if she had even the smallest mark on her face.

How many more ways can that poor man say that he didnt see anything on her damned face! This is harassments on the lawyers side, shes pestering him so much that he would be within his rights to refuse to answer any more or just say "what do you want me to say!!, just make this stop!" This should not have been allowed to continue.

She thinks this line of questioning is helping but she fails to realize that seeing someone, especially a celebrity, with a bruise on her face would be a stand out moment that a person would remember even if they had a bad memory for details.

He went and checked the video when he heard what happened on the day he was off. He would have seen any swelling on her face. He's doing his job and noticing his surrounding. Loved the chat about the dog scratches and it's the dog trying to get in. I thought they would remind him to stay put when he started the car, .... but nope.

She was trying to show he was forgetful but failed to hear what he was saying. His clear memory of the loose dog made it obvious he's able to recall things out of the ordinary, but her face was perfectly normal.

Mr. Romero was a very likable witness. He came across genuine and relatable. Amber’s team did themselves no favors by questioning him in the manner they did. Definitely didn’t gain them any points with the jury, much like the rest of this trial.

Jessica Bosch: I think it’s a little unfair to say that the rich are disturbing his peace. This has nothing to do with wealth. It’s more to do with class. I think it might be a little more fair to say that the terminally inconsiderate and entitled are disturbing his peace. And by that, I mean that lout of a lawyer that just kept repeating the same pointless questions. Sometimes silence is far better than shouting stupidity. And that woman was broadcasting her stupidity and inconsideration far and wide.

She did that on purpose in order to force the witness to change their testimony. Typical defense lawyer tactic. Asking the same question over and over and over and over and over again hopefully your answer would be different this one time and they seize upon it and win the case. Johnny Depp's lawyer should've objected.
