There was so much gaslighting , i'm surprised the witch didn't burst into flames *smdh* , her tone of voice and the mind games and the belittling and emotional blackmail is just disgusting. Thank goodness Depp filed for divorce when he did , otherwise his mental health and physical health probably would have got worse. How long before she'd try to hurt him to the point where it's fatal , it doesn't bear thinking about . The severed finger was horrific enough.

Yep! My son is going through the same thing. Being abused by his girlfriend. He threatened suicide twice. My son is a very quite even in talking and I've never heard in rise his voice to anyone. Intact he was the sweetest baby and toddler. And he's a kind young man. His girlfriend is 5 yrs older than him. As a mother it breaks my heart. Because he has a good heart.

I really hope this story ends in the happiest of ways, him finding a good woman who shows him to not lose faith in humanity. Amber Heard will become a case study about why we need to find a way to weed out sociopaths in society. Absolute vile disgusting monster. Her legacy will be meme's of people saying things like "are you telling the truth or pulling an Amber Heard?". Can't even express the satisfaction that this truth of people sometimes lying was forced into the public view, real victims need heard, but NEVER EVER to punish the accused until verified 100% the did bad things to someone. This isn't about a movie star etc, this is an extreme passion that blindly believing someone based on their gender never should have been a part of our culture...

I'm 67 and have followed through JD's case during his uk trial against the tabloid. It was so evident then that Johnny was the abused and not the abused. The Judge with all the evidence set before him chose to side Amber with her declaration of her donation to charity. 🙄 She did not even keep her pledge. Still believe in him and with this on going case, it has only reaffirmed my thoughts on Amber. I applaud the psychologist for her intelligence, her articulateness, her restraint, her professionalism and her accurate description of Amber. This case has served to highlight the generosity, kindness, compassion, and suffering of this innocent introverted man at the hands of his abusive, manipulative, vengeful and bitter wife who latched onto him like a bloodsucker.

Amber Heard is revealing why it is hard to find a decent woman. This case is monumental as, finally, women who consider falsely accusing men will not be believed based upon gender. Your statement 'Decent Men' is indicative of a social flaw to always paint men with the same brush because of the few. That mentality is why we, as a society, are where we are now where Men are considered the monsters and women can do no wrong.

What’s so sad about all of this is that Johnny doesn’t realize that he was the victim of both domestic violence and narcissistic abuse (which go hand in hand). Johnny also finally gained clarity and recognized he was a victim and needed to escape her toxicity. Of course the copy catting comes in… shes the one to claim abuse and file that unnecessary restraining order. She couldn’t stand him leaving her so shes gotta “cut him off” first…. Yes. Exactly. A sure sign you're being abused by a narcissist is the gas lighting, the projection of their own faults on to others. A product of their flawed believe in their own superiority exacerbated by their inability to understand how others can think and operate quite well while being different to them. Instead they falsely assume everyone else has the same flawed thinking as they do, therefore in their mind, all the problems are caused by everyone else, never themselves. It's always everyone else's job to change their behavior to suit the narcissist. They either lack the ability to fairly re-evaluate their own behavior or they refuse to accept responsibility for the emotional damage they cause to others and themselves.

That's how it is. He stayed around because he learnt to stay around for his mother out of compassion and understanding, even if he had to suffer and take the other person's rage. I relate to him because my mum, even though she wasn't abusive to me directly, had these outbursts of rage that would totally disturb me and made me feel alone and scared. I learnt to love her nevertheless because then she'd be absolutely ashamed and say sorry and try to make smaller something that affected negatively us all. She was also overprotective and codependent of me. She wasn't mean at her core at all, she just never addressed her own trauma and they way she expressed it. You learn it's part of them and you try to help them, you sacrifice, you mature very quickly and go through life with a very particular outlook on love. I somehow often mothered my mother when I was a child, and that leaves scars. At times I'd so tired of her not addressing her problem I'd lose it and even get physical to her to stop the cycle of pain, to stop her tantrum and bring reason to her... as a child myself. I know exactly what Johnny went through and why he stayed with her. The more I listen to his testimony the more I see how things fall into place, the more I understand and coherent it all seems. This might seem just a gossip videos, but this case is also helping me see what I went through and what not to fall for, and not to repeat the behaviour my mum had.

He’s not completely broken or he couldn’t do this, he couldn’t explain these things. He’s finding his way through his life long issues. Amber is, in a way, the thing that has driven him toward health. If you know the story of Hercules, he was pursued and abused by Hera, his father’s (Zeus) wife who wanted to get even for Zeus’s philandering. (Hercules was the child of Zeus and a human princess Alcmene whom Zeus tricked into sleeping with him by shape shifting to appear as her husband). Hercules (actually spelled Herakles in the Greek) was pursued and hassled by Hera his entire life. In the end-Hera made Herakles the hero he was by forcing him to do incredible labors. Her abuse changed him from spoiled teenager to a fully grown man. Please notice the names. Herakles means “glorious gift of Hera”. The word “hero” is based in Herakles name. So in a strange way, Johnny’s relationship with Amber has given him the chance to become the best Johnny he can be simply by telling his story over the past weeks. As many have mentioned, they feel inspired by his story as they have recognize themselves in similar situations and are making their own changes.

We’re entitled to our own interpretation of this trial, can gossip about it, and that’s all our opinion will ever amount to. Because we are not jury, who sits and listens to the entire trial. And even if we were, we haven’t seen what happens behind closed doors. Even the jurors have to make assumptions and take other people at their word

As he is an incredibly shy and private person, this must be insanely difficult for him; but I actually hope he feels better after all of this. Nothing to hide anymore, he can live his life openly and honestly, seeing that we all accept and cherish him for exactly who he is, with all his flaws and low moments and choices. That's not something celebrities of this level get to have; it's the one luxury they can't afford. I feel like he is a friend to all of us now. Jennifer Grey said he took her pain away and was wonderful, Vanessa Paradis said he was always attentive, generous and kind. His first wife, Lori Ann Allison, is still close friends with him. Sherilynn Flynn said he had 'a wonderful personality, really special' and publicly defended him against Amber's accusations saying she knows he is not capable of the things she was claiming. The whole entire list from age 20 to present day, except for Amber, seemed to hold him in their hearts and still very much care about him. And I am not convinced Amber is over him. I feel like the extremity of her claims are almost designed to provoke a reaction to keep him in her life, like an extension of the crazy behaviour of hitting him when he tries to leave. I had a similar situation with a coworker right before the pandemic. It seemed the more we hung out outside of work the more 'toxic' our relationship would become. Ultimately, I had gotten so fed up with her behavior I ended up telling human resources about it since I was too angry/reluctant to talk to her in person and didn't know how to handle the situation. What sucked was that even though I wasn't intentionally trying to slander her reputation word got out and everyone in the office viewed me as the main instigator for bringing her behavior into the light. To this day I still feel guilty for doing so and wish that I had spoken to her directly.

JOHNNY - “the Amber I knew for the first year and a half was not this same person”, this is KEY sign of narcissistic abuse. They love bomb you, study your every move in the beginning, give you an over abundance of attention and affection, anticipate your every need, and capture your heart very quickly because of this intense devotion. They put you on a pedestal so high, that it isn’t until you fall and come crashing down, that you realize that was the purpose of your pedestal in the first place! When you are open and vulnerable with a narcissist and share things, they will tuck your weaknesses or confessions away, to later be used against you. The reason why things became so volatile in this case is because Johnny began to UNMASK Amber, and once you unmask a narcissist they will DESPISE you with the same intensity that they love bombed you with in the beginning, b/c they know their game is up and you have finally found your own two feet. Amber is a dangerous narcissistic borderline who gaslit her way into victim hood, used the legal system, the media, and her fame to destroy her husband, when she in fact was the perpetrator. We heard it in her own voice, she wasn’t sorry that she punched him, she was sorry she didn’t properly slap him with a closed hand!! See the difference? The hallmark of Narcissists is lying, they lie as easily as other people breathe. Watching Amber’s stoic face throughout this trial, I see an empty shell whose only lifeline is her abuse of power and manipulation of others, like pawns in a game of chess. Amber has the spirit of Jezebel in her, talked about in the Bible~ this is the real “monster” she refers to and accuses her husband of being. I hope Johnny gets the justice and validation he deserves! The spectacle of falsehoods Amber has created is a slap in the face to every REAL woman who has experienced domestic violence! She should be forced to pay another lump sum to domestic violence shelters in California !! Johnny’s courage to speak up is an inspiration to all of us out there who have suffered at the hands of these mentally ill, parasitic individuals. May we all continue to heal so we can help other men and women tangled up in the same web.

That's the part that a lot of people don't really comprehend about sociopathic abusers. They know the victim's soft underbelly and keep at it. My ex used to wake me up every night. Not in a romantic way. It was about 5 different pretexts every night. I had to be in at work early in the morning. He wasn't working. He knew that I must go to sleep at a certain time and if awakened cannot get back to sleep. And will wake up every night at that time. I must have 8 hours or am in bad shape. I made the mistake of telling him when we first moved in together. No lie. Every night. A handful of tricks that he rotated for the better part of a decade. He didn't even stop after I told him I was falling asleep on the highway going home from work every night. Didn't change a thing. Kept doing it. I ended up going to the doctor and telling him about it. He gave me sleeping pills. I would stay awake until he was asleep (1 or 2 AM) and go to sleep on the sofa. May seem like a small thing. It certainly wasn't the only thing. He knew that he had an easy method of destroying my mind (because I am in bad shape without my sleep - like not safe,) Then, he went around telling everyone whom we barely knew that I was addicted to sleeping pills. Just gaslighting stuff. Wasn't the worst thing that he ever did. But, I think it is a good one to illustrate the subtle cruelty they will do just to destroy you.

It makes you wonder how can they change so quickly like turning off a light switch, to then realise they were always that sort of person but chose to hide until such time you are under their spell making it so much harder to break away from that spell. Yes I finally managed to breakaway and now happy and content, just wished I was able to get away a lot sooner then I did. Describes pretty much everyone's experience of narcissistic abuse. Wonderful love-bombing phase where you think you have found the person of your dreams, and then they very gradually turn on you and become someone completely different, you feel like you're going crazy and start to modify your behaviour to get them change back to the person they were at the start. But they don't and you end up becoming a husk of a human being as they feed off the energy you put into them. It happens to men too obviously, but more commonly to women I think because of the inherent need to "fix" or "save" the other person and the physical violence inflicted by men is usually more severe.

When you feel the need to record, run and never look back. Everyone who is been with a narcissist knows that.

Me and my sister have done this with my biological mom. She’s a big narcissist, always flip flopping never claiming to say, do, or remember anything

That's how I felt when I was with a similar woman with a cluster B disorder. I loved her and though I could help. I thought maybe if she got treatment everything could work out. I have no idea how she was slowly eroding away my boundaries. Soon I was accepting things I would never have imagined.

I understand why Johnny tried to stay and work through the difficulties in his marriage. If you have been married more than once, failure screams in your mind. You don't want another failure! I stayed in a marriage for years in which a lot of verbal abuse took place. Eventually, physical abuse became an issue. After my children became a witness to the abuse, is when I decided to divorce. The abuse continued after our divorce, at one point my ex, broke into my home and destroyed many of my things and the children's things. Due to the fact, I didn't have witnesses of my husband's actions, nothing could be done legally. The abuse finally ended when I remarried. It's been around 30 years now, my ex has been married and divorced 3X since then. Where my 2nd marriage lasted for years, with the death of my 2nd husband. This just confirmed to me that the problem was with my Ex husband.
