In this video we are removing the front door panel on a Mercedes w163. The one we removed is on the left front door but the right front door is the same as well. We demonstrated on a 2000 Mercedes ML430 but it should be the same for the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 models. 1998 & 1999 W163 differ because of the side airbag. The only difference is that there is one less screw because they do not have the airbag cover.
This procedure should work on:

This is great! Working on a 2001 ML430. I started with the window control switch replacement as it was broken and your video for that was perfect. New window control switch panel works great but now the F30 fuse is blowing when operating the front passenger side window. Going to take the door panel off and see what's going on.

I dug and hunted around trying to figure out if it was a short, an issue with the motor, relay or something else. As I was digging around I cleaned and lubricated all the parts as the grease had all dried out and there was tons of grit and dust in everything as they live down a dirt road. Apparently it was just the lack of lubrication and or dirt in the window mechanism blowing the fuse as once everything was back together I've put them up and down over 20 times and have been unable to blow the fuse again.
