I've got the pdf versions paired it with a Udemy web dev coarse and few hours a week on KZbin. I was told by a senior web developer who conducted an interview I had a wile back that my job readiness was way past that of a university graduate as I knew all the practical stuff that companies need to make money. You can imagine how shocked I was

Nqobile sounds amazing if a course can really do that for you. Did you finish both books & the course at that time? And did you use any other sources for learning during that time? Im interested in doing something similar, so hearing a success story like yours gives me lots of inspiration, and I want to know more about how to get a good start like you did. Please tell me more about your story, like whether you completely read both books & how many other udemy courses you took before the interview or was it just colt steels book? And what position did you apply for (so i know what this course should prepare me to get an entry level position in). Thanks so much man.

Depends on the kind of developer you want to be. Web dev, learn HTML & CSS first, then JavaScript. HTML you can basically learn in a day or two. CSS a little longer, but not much, then real programming JavaScript. That will take a bit. If you want to dev apps for say phones, learn c++ and then look depending on what platform you want to focus on.

Hello, I think there's a book better than the one that you introduced into that video. It is written by Denis Kolisnichenko HTML&CSS Pratical Programming .. I am saying that because the one from Jon Duckett has more colors than content. U know what I mean... It looks more like a site in the book whereas the book that Denis Wrote is most content, nothing skipped but there are things that you should just google on your own because there are no proper examples on how to use some things like tags and atributes and so on. Just saying, I haven't read the Jon Duckett's one but I will try it. Also the JavaScript one :).

Still pretty good

Cool videos man. However I would suggest turning off your autofocus. It's really bad. Set something up where you would stand and focus manually. Then go and stand in that exact spot. As a photographer I found it really hard to watch. Not being negative. Just trying to help out.🤘

Luke thanks for the feedback, this is an older video and I have since moved to manual focus for the most part. I know some people take old videos like these down but I enjoy seeing my progression. Super appreciate your constructive comments 👍

Anybody who's having these books wants to sell. I will return to you after learning things from the book. Thank you.
