I own a 68 C10 and my truck is leaning towards the driver side a little. Looks un level. I also have a leaking steering box. The mechanic shops here are full till the beginning of the year. I was afraid of doing the repairs on my own because I have none of the big tools to do it myself. You made it look easy.

did you have caster issues when you paired the cpp upper control arm with the stock bottom control arm? apparently the upper cpp control arms are make shorter and the lower cpp arms are made longer to compensate. by pairing the cpp upper with the stock lower, would you have unwanted postive caster?

Curious! Why tubular uppers, but no lowers. I know the lowers cost quite a bit more. Just wondered your reasoning!
@paulkc102 жыл бұрын
Tubular uppers account for the camber change when lowering the truck. Lowers have the same dimensions as stock. I was on a budget so only did the uppers

Mine is a 2WD and is already dropped. Just need to fix the same components you did to make it better. I’m also replacing the coil sprigs and shocks. One more question, I’m buying parts from LMC Truck and Brothers, are there better places out there $$$ wise?

@Rocky P >If your reference is about the lower control arm shaft, the factory OEM were 7/16” U-bolt. The LMC catalog offers the OEM but recommend upgrading to the 1/2” as found on the C20 and heavier. You will have to drill out the frame holes and perhaps the saddles. ASE Master Retired
