Front Headlight Fairing Delete/Removal - Aprilia Shiver 750

If you want to make your 2011-up Aprilia Shiver look like the older models with no front headlight fairing, you can easily get this look with one part and a few tools.
I think it makes the newer Aprilia Shiver look much better, what do you all think?

8mm wrench
10mm socket
4mm and 5mm Allen keys
Small Philips screwdriver

Very nice! great video! I did the exact same thing with my MY17 Shiver but went back for the front cover after a few weeks. I was afraid about the possibility that instrument panel will get damage by something (like stones, heavy rain etc..). But agreed, it looks way cooler without the cover.

I think you shouldn't have to worry about it too much as Aprilia went back to this setup on the new Shiver 900's

I have the 09 Aprilia shiver 750 I totally love it mine it's the black with gold frame I love mine has 190 on the back everyone likes the big tire

@@moto.obsession I have a 2007 model, to me it looks perfect. This front fairing makes the motorcycle look like a cheap scooter.

@@moto.obsession yeah, the diamond-shaped lamp is so typical for this model that it cannot be confused with anything else. You can see it's a Shiver from a long distance. And boy, what a pleasant view it is :) My motorcycle's mileage is over 50 thousand kilometres and I'm not going to replace it for a long while.

I have a few questions. I myself have a 2009 model Shiver 750, and I love it everyday but got into a few problems. My headlight has a problem with the bulb on the right side. It keeps blinking on and off and cant find the soltion. The second problem is with my tank indicator. Even when I have just filled up my gastank, it indicates that it is low on fuel. Do you have any idea? I appreciate it and keep up the high quality videos, you definently deserve a bigger audience!

For the low fuel light, it sounds like it's an issue with the fuel sensor in the tank/pump but I'm not certain on that. I've seen some people refer to a "duff" sensor as well so that could be something to look into or ask an Aprilia dealer about. For the headlight, that could be a few different things, the connector has bend/bad pins, poor connection, etc. Or there is also a resistor that sucks to get to that can be replaced but I would do that as a last resort. Have you checked the fuses?

@@moto.obsession yes very interested. It seems like you didn't keep it that long? Im a new rider btw. I took the MSF years ago and got my license. Other than riding a grom a few times and a ninja 250 once I have no real riding experience. Was considering the shiver 750 and putting it in rain mode till I got comfortable. The other option is the mt-07
