I have the duel arb compressor and it’s very good no problems so far, although im not using ARB lockers as well. Just be careful if you’re using the single compressor compared to the dual, you can only air up about 4 tires then have to let it cool down for 10-15 minutes.
@66Duffman4 жыл бұрын
Yeah the single isn’t 100% cycle..it can overheat but it hasn’t gotten too hot so far luckily
@joshkent41264 жыл бұрын
Dirtnation Offroad Yes mines never “overheated” but after 4+ tires it’ll definitely burn you if you get close 😂

My '13 Reg Cab goes into the shop, on Tuesday, for 5.29's and front and rear ARB's. Can't wait! Sweet 6th Gen Hatch, BTW! I had a 6th Gen EX Coupe for hella years. Put 260,000 problem free miles on it. Then it got stolen :(

i started wheeling my 93 open open, and had a blast! i just added the yukon locker so i cant unlock but iv been doing trails in 2wd to test myself then 4x4 if i have to. Super fun :D great video man! if i do a front locker defiantly gonna be button activated.
@FatBat5k4 жыл бұрын
Please do everyone a favor... if you're on an "off-road" trail, leave it in 4. People testing themselves by smashing through things in 2wd when they need 4, or 4wH when they should be in low basically just destroys the track. We want these areas to remain open and available to peoples. Just sayin 😁

Watch when it kicks on in the video... you can see the mount flex a bit... Good mount isn't going to be SOLID because you want a little bit of wiggle (for lack of a better term) so the compressor doesn't vibrate itself into oblivion, but its gonna be more robust than that 😁

I changed my 1999 Toyota 4runner 4wd limited front differential 4 months ago because I had an issue with the gear's, and i sad my self why not to order the new one with front locker. Than i ask myself, did i stock anywhere with only having a rear locker No i been pretty hard trails but never need the front one. So it is up to u guy's need it or not but his right gives you more confidence when u have in your track or suv. But overall for me i don't need it.

I have a problem with ARB lockers. The twin o rings inside the air line ring (seal housing) mounted onto the axle spline gear (bearing journal) is so low quality. They begin to leak after a year and start to pump your diff oil out to the air pump and now you have an oil leak from your air pump. And when the leak increases with more wear, your lockers stop locking. You have to dismantle the whole diff to change those washers. And guess what, those also wear and here we go again. They are constantly subjected to friction when the axles are moving. This is a big big design weakness. I prefer electrically operated lockers now.
@thedetective81503 жыл бұрын
How old are your ARB lockers ? I read that ARB fixed return O ring failure issues.
