Front Motor Mount Replacement 04-08 Maxima, 3.5 Altima --__-- 04 Nismo Maxima

What's going on Tube.. It's been a minute and caught a break in the weather to get some work done.. I had massive vibrations coming from the engine bay.. On top of that going over bumps and potholes sounded like a nightmare.. Anyway this is how I went about swapping out my front motor mount. Just watched all the video's on what I need done on my Max. Damn yo, I need two motor mounts, 2 front struts, cv axle, and two outer tie rods on my Maxima wtf. I need you to slid down here to Va and hook a brother up lol.

Ok, so I have been searching around myself and the front mount should be located in roughly the same place. Towards the front of the engine, slightly offset to the right. The torque mount and passenger side mounts are visible.

Hell yeah man great walk thru my mounts are done ...Buy Question, is there a specific motor mount I need for the racingline motor mount inserts I'm tired of them just collecting dust.

I would say oem to get the best bang for your buck.. But after market will work as well..

It was a lot more difficult to put on the new one than the old because of those ridges. Had to use a pry bar to fit both sides in( and the aftermarket one was slightly more narrow).

Thats not a sensor friend, its a variable adjustable stability control. Best read up on it.

@@Abu5ed_VQ It uses RPMs from the computer to determine what setting the motor mount should adjust to. I think its a brilliant design, its a shame they used crappy materials to make it with. My guess is they all fail over time.

You want to put the floor jack under the oil pan with a piece of wood in between.. Just so you won't dent the oil pan itself.

@@Abu5ed_VQ Another question bro, I replaced all my oxygen sensors and now have an egr valve code P0406. Do you think this is related to the previous oxygen sensors being bad and filling it up with carbon?

@@Preach22 that’s highly possible.. I would try to clean the egr valve and check the wiring harness going to the egr valve.. Hope this helps
