I truly enjoy your videos. They are the most comprehensive of any I have seen. I especially like that you say the exact type and size of wrench or socket you use. If I were to offer any critique I would say it would be beneficial if at the beginning you were to lay out all the tools you would need so everyone can see the them.

WOW, that’s the only word to describe what I’ve just seen. I only came across your channel by chance and I’m pleased that I have found it. I own a 2005 maxima and the information that you have given out is very much appreciated. Cheers from New Zealand.

This was a pretty decent job to complete, a lot of working by feel. The pressure hose is probably harder, no room to work. I pray none of you have to change the alternator!

I fought getting the pump LONG bolt in. My suggestion as it worked for me by attaching the adjustment bracket in place 1ST and swing pump in to put the bottom long bolt in. Any way you do this, it is NOT an easy one to do.
@mjspiess3 жыл бұрын
I followed your suggestion by attaching the adjustment bracket in place first and swing the pump into place. This certainly made it easier, but I also fought getting the long bolt pressed in far enough to get the threads to catch. What I ended up doing was using a small pry bar on the back side of the long bolt and I was able to press it fully through the pump and hit the threaded mounting section. From there, I used a flex head ratchet and was able to press/pull and twist the bolt into the threaded section. It took me 3 hours from start to finish.
