Thanks for watching. I hope that you are able to get the auger. It really does make things go a lot easier. We are looking to plant a lot of fruit trees this Spring and I know that the auger will make quick work of it. Enjoy your tractor!

This is way better than on the back of the tractor.

Never used one on the front of a loader tractor, but they are the cats meow on the front of a skid steer. You can easily see what you are doing. Guys like me are old enough it is getting harder to turn the neck around to see what is going on behind the tractor without shifting completely sideways in the seat. On the newer tractors that will cause an issue with the safety switch for the seat and keep killing the engine. Front mount looks to be far superior.

Yes, it is getting harder and harder to look behind myself when doing work. This is one accessory that I believe it is worth spoiling yourself.

thx for the great video will this run of the same lines as the grapple is using?
@MarquithLegacyAcres2 ай бұрын
@@Deuce_Allan Yes, it uses the same hydraulic lines as the grapple. Thanks for stopping by.

I had a 3 point auger for a while It was absolutely useless here on my Tennessee property nothing but clay and rocks here sold I sold it less than 1 year old.

I am absolutely thrilled that I was talked into the front mount auger. Not sure my Kentucky soil is any better than yours in Tennessee.

I'm about to buy a kabota. I don't know anything about tractors. I'm curious if it's ok to have the cylinders extended while pushing down.
@MarquithLegacyAcres3 ай бұрын
The cylinders are strong enough to actually lift the front of your tractor off the ground. Use common sense and you should be fine.

Very nice! Congratulations. I usually don't hit clay like that on my property enough to justify the extra cost over a 3-point digger. Mine tends to be wetter, or as we call it, gumbo clay. It is sticky, but not so hard unless it is dry. Still fairly easy to dig as it is usually topped with enough sandy topsoil to keep from crusting over in all but the driest conditions. But if I had to drill a lot of holes in your hard clay, I think I would definitely have to consider getting one.

Thanks. You are right, it is not for everyone or every property. Hopefully we are able to execute our plans on an orchard and help justify the extra expense. Exciting to start working towards our plans.

@@MarquithLegacyAcres I wholeheartedly agree, and wish you well as y'all start on your new adventure! I am retiring to a large property that has been mostly clear cut and plan on growing a pine forest to leave to my kids with fruit trees with a small garden for me and my wife, and maybe a few small pastures down the road. The L2502 has so far been an excellent choice for me. Paired with the grapple and a stump grinder, mine has been getting a workout. Short term, I probably could have used a larger tractor, but long term, this thing should be more than adequate for my needs.
@jasonburress82015 ай бұрын
What stump grinder do you have
@cajunaggie98155 ай бұрын
@@jasonburress8201 I bought the Woodland Mills stump grinder. I have a hydrostatic transmission and it works great, but don't recommend it for a standard transmission as it would be hard on the clutch.
