Waymo is currently only deiving on Highways for employees and testing purposes. They should be going onto the Highway somtime in the near future (at least we hope) 😅

They are assembling new car in Gilbert factory almost 500 ipace are ready to deploy ...but may in LA Austin and Atlanta....

@Tashupost that’s really cool to see that happening in Gilbert. I have to imagine that it takes a lot of work upfront to build the @waymo . BUT super awesome.

@EliWax YES 💯 it was a great ride. I do notice that they have somewhat limited pick-up and drop off locations and sometimes the route is a bit unusual. But those are minor tweaks for the future.

Yes, nothing is 💯, but I think the data is getting to the point that they are at least as safe as a human driver.
